8 Days 7 Nights Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Pickup at 7:30am from City Market Nairobi followed by safari briefing and departure to Maasai Mara. The drive goes north ascending the Great Rift Valley with scenic viewpoints and a stop in Narok town for refueling. Arrival at the camp or lodge is expected around 1:30pm for check in, lunch and freshening up. An introductory evening game viewing drive begins from 3:30pm. The Maasai Mara offers savannah grassland, acacia trees, rich wildlife diversity including the Big 5 and the Mara River where the annual wildebeest migration occurs typically in July and August.

Full day game drives in Maasai Mara with early morning start. The Mara is renowned for large herds of plains game and predators including lions, leopards and cheetahs, as well as elephants and diverse birdlife. Activities include morning and evening game drives with picnic bush lunches at the Mara River Hippo pools and a cultural visit to a Maasai Manyatta to learn Maasai culture and crafts. Evenings are spent relaxing at the camp or lodge with opportunities for nature walks, photography, dinner and bonfire.

Continued full day game drives in Maasai Mara with morning and evening opportunities to view predators and large herds. The day includes picnic lunch at Mara River hippo pools, further game viewing across the reserve and cultural engagement at the Maasai Manyatta. Evenings are reserved for relaxing at the lodge, optional nature walks and photography, with dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.

After breakfast and check out, depart Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a quick stop for lunch en route. Arrival to Nakuru hotel is planned in the evening for check in, refreshment, dinner and overnight stay. The transfer includes scenic Rift Valley landscapes.

Early morning departure to Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast for park entry, payment of park fees and game drives. Lake Nakuru is a bird watchers paradise with over 400 bird species including large flocks of greater and lesser flamingos and is known for high concentrations of black rhinoceros. Game drives will focus on viewing rhinos, giraffes, buffalos, zebras and diverse birdlife. Later proceed to Lake Naivasha area.

Morning check out and transfer to Lake Naivasha with a boat ride to Crescent Island for walking safaris among wildlife, bird watching and optional activities like picnicking, guided nature walks, biking and horseback riding. After the lake activities and safari briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park via Mombasa Road with a stop at Emali Town for snacks lunch and washroom break, arriving at the Amboseli camp or lodge around 5:30pm for check in, freshen up, dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives in Amboseli National Park with early morning start. Amboseli lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and is famed for large elephant herds and great photographic opportunities with the snowcapped mountain backdrop. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, picnic lunch inside the park, en route game viewing and leisure time at the lodge with options to swim and use lodge facilities. Dinner is served at 7:30pm and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Breakfast and morning game drives in Amboseli followed by check out and return drive to Nairobi. Activities include a last morning game drive until 11:30am, departure from the park and road transfer to Nairobi with en route health breaks and self sponsored lunch, arriving in Nairobi around 4:30pm marking the end of the safari.
