8 Days 7 Nights Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru N.P - Lake Naivasha - Amboseli N.P

Pickup at 7:30am in Nairobi from City Market followed by safari briefing and drive north ascending the Great Rift Valley with scenic photography opportunities, refueling stop at Narok town, arrival at Maasai Mara camp or lodge around 1:30pm for check in and lunch, and an introductory evening game viewing drive from 3:30pm. The Maasai Mara offers vast savannah plains, acacia dotted hills and abundant wildlife including the Big 5 and the Mara River which is famous for the annual wildebeest and zebra migration during July and August.

Full day game drives in Maasai Mara with early morning start at 6:00am. Explore the rich savannah and rolling hills searching for plains game, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and diverse birdlife. Picnic bush lunches at the hippo pools along the Mara River and a Maasai Village Manyatta cultural visit are included. Evenings are spent relaxing at camp or lodge with opportunities for nature walks, photography, dinner, bonfire and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Another full day of game drives in Maasai Mara starting early with breakfast at 6:00am, exploring different areas of the reserve for wildlife including big cats and large herds, picnic lunch in the park, further game viewing in the afternoon, Maasai cultural interactions at the Manyatta, evening relaxation at camp or lodge with nature walks, photography, dinner, bonfire and overnight stay.

After breakfast and checkout, depart Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a quick stop for lunch enroute. Arrive at the Nakuru hotel in the evening, check in, refresh and await dinner with an overnight stay in Nakuru.

Early morning breakfast at 7:00am then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, pay park fees and carry out game drives. Lake Nakuru is a premier birding area hosting over 400 bird species including huge flocks of greater and lesser flamingos, and is a sanctuary for black and white rhinoceros and other mammals. Expect diverse landscapes from grasslands to forests and chances to see rhinos, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, primates and many bird species. After game drives proceed to Naivasha later as per itinerary.

After breakfast and checkout proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island where guests can walk among tame wildlife, birdwatch and enjoy guided nature walks. Activities on the island include walking among wild animals, picnicking, guided nature walks, biking, horseback riding and bird watching. After the Naivasha activities and safari briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park via Mombasa Road with a stop at Emali for snacks or lunch and arrive at the Amboseli camp or lodge around 5:30pm for check in, freshen up, dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives in Amboseli starting with breakfast at 6:30am and boarding the land cruiser or tour van. Early morning drives offer rewarding predator sightings and excellent photographic opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Amboseli is known for large elephant herds plus zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, hippos and many plains species. Picnic lunch is taken inside the park. Check out from the park at around 3:30pm then proceed to the lodge with enroute game drives. Evening at the lodge for swimming or other facilities, dinner at 7:30pm and overnight stay; bonfire can be prepared on request at no extra cost.

Last day in Amboseli with breakfast at 8:00am and check out at 9:00am, followed by morning game drives until 11:30am. After checking out of the park, drive to Nairobi with enroute stops for health breaks and a self sponsored lunch, arriving in Nairobi around 4:30pm and ending the safari.
