8DAYS 7NIGHTS MAASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU N.P – LAKE NAIVASHA - AMBOSELI N.P

Pickup at 7:30am from City Market Nairobi followed by a safari briefing then depart for Maasai Mara driving north and ascending the Great Rift Valley for scenic views. Stop at Narok town for refueling. Arrive at the camp or lodge around 1:30pm for check in, lunch and freshen up. Afternoon introductory evening game drive starts from 3:30pm. Expect rich savannah scenery, acacia dotted plains and opportunities to see the Big 5 and other wildlife. Overnight at the camp or lodge.

Full day game drives in Maasai Mara starting after early morning breakfast at 6:00am. Explore the rich savannah grassland and rolling hills in search of large herds of plains game, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and many other species. Picnic bush lunch at the hippo pools near the Mara River. Afternoon return to camp for a visit to a Maasai Manyatta for a cultural tour including traditional dances and demonstration of local skills. Evening relaxation, nature walks and photography at the camp. Dinner, bonfire and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Another full day of game drives in Maasai Mara with opportunities for morning and evening drives to maximize wildlife sightings. Continue exploring the reserve to spot predators and diverse herbivores and birdlife. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight. Drive back to camp around 6:30pm on some days as indicated for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at 8:00am and check out from rooms at 8:30am depart Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a quick stopover for lunch enroute. Arrive at the Nakuru hotel in the evening, check in, refresh and take dinner with overnight stay in Nakuru.

Early morning breakfast at 7:00am then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Pay park entrance fees and conduct game drives in this premium birding and wildlife park known for flamingos, over 400 bird species and one of the highest concentrations of black rhinoceros. Expect sightings of white rhinos, buffalos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, impalas and many bird species. After game drives proceed to Naivasha as per itinerary for overnight stay.

After breakfast at 7:00am and check out from rooms at 9:00am proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride towards Crescent Island. Enjoy walking among tame wildlife on Crescent Island, bird watching and optional activities such as picnicking, guided nature walks, biking and horseback riding. After the Naivasha visit and safari briefing depart for Amboseli National Park via Mombasa Road with a stop at Emali Town for snacks lunch and washroom break. Arrive at the Amboseli camp or lodge around 5:30pm, check in, freshen up, have dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives in Amboseli starting with breakfast at 6:30am. Board the land cruiser or tour van for early morning drives that often provide opportunities to see predators hunting and to photograph wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is known for large elephant herds, zebras, wildebeests and many plains species. Picnic lunch inside the park then continue game drives. Check out from the park around 3:30pm and proceed to the lodge with enroute game drives. Evening at the lodge may include swimming and use of other facilities. Dinner at 7:30pm and overnight stay at the camp or lodge.

Final day breakfast at 8:00am and check out from the camp or lodge at 9:00am. Proceed for morning game drives until 11:30am then check out from the park and drive back to Nairobi with enroute stopovers for health breaks and a self sponsored lunch. Arrive in Nairobi around 4:30pm marking the end of the safari.
