8DAYS 7NIGHTS MAASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU N.P – LAKE NAIVASHA - AMBOSELI N.P

Pickup at 7:30am at City Market Nairobi after a safari briefing and depart for Maasai Mara driving north and ascending the Great Rift Valley with scenic views. Stop at Narok town for refueling. Arrive at the camp or lodge at around 1:30pm, check in, take lunch and freshen up. Afternoon introductory evening game viewing drive from 3:30pm into the Maasai Mara which is famed for its grass plains, acacia trees, Mara River and rich wildlife including the Big Five. Overnight at the camp or lodge.

Full day of game drives in Maasai Mara starting after early morning breakfast at 6:00am. Explore the savannah grasslands and rolling hills renowned for large herds of plain game, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and other wildlife. Have picnic bush lunch at the Hippo Pools by the Mara River and continue game viewing. Return to camp at around 3:00pm then visit a Maasai Manyatta for a cultural tour including dances and demonstrations. Evening spent relaxing at the camp with a nature walk, photography, dinner, bonfire and overnight stay.

Continuation of full day game drives in Maasai Mara with morning and evening drives to maximize wildlife sightings. Enjoy morning and evening game drives which give chances to see predators hunting or feeding as well as a diverse range of wildlife and bird species. Return to camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Game drives may conclude around 6:30pm when returning to camp.

After breakfast at 8:00am and check out from rooms at 8:30am, depart Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a quick stopover for lunch enroute. Arrive at Nakuru in the evening, check in at the hotel, refresh and wait for dinner and overnight stay in Nakuru.

Early morning breakfast at 7:00am then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park where park fees are paid and game drives conducted. Lake Nakuru is a bird lovers paradise with over 400 bird species and is a sanctuary for black rhinos and other mammals. Expect to see white rhinos, buffalos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, impalas, baboons and many bird species including greater and lesser flamingos. After game drives proceed to Naivasha as per itinerary.

After breakfast at 7:00am and check out from rooms at 9:00am proceed to Lake Naivasha. Take a boat ride towards Crescent Island and do a walking safari among tame wildlife, enjoying bird watching and island landscapes. Activities on Crescent Island include picnicking, guided nature walks, biking, horseback riding and game viewing. After the Naivasha activities and safari briefing depart for Amboseli National Park via Mombasa Road with a stop at Emali for snacks, lunch and washroom before arriving at the Amboseli camp or lodge around 5:30pm. Check in, freshen up, dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives in Amboseli starting with breakfast at 6:30am and boarding the land cruiser or tour van for early morning drives. Amboseli lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and is famed for large elephant herds, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and many predators. Photograph wildlife against Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Picnic lunch inside the park and continue game drives. Check out from the park around 3:30pm and proceed to the lodge with enroute game viewing. Evening at the lodge for swimming or other facilities, dinner at 7:30pm and overnight stay. Bonfire can be prepared on request at no extra cost.

Final day begins with breakfast at 8:00am and check out from the camp or lodge at 9:00am. Proceed for morning game drives until 11:30am, then check out from the park and drive back to Nairobi with enroute stop overs for health breaks and self sponsored lunch. Arrive in Nairobi at around 4:30pm concluding the safari.
