9-Day Luxury Honeymoon Safari in Northern Tanzania & Zanzibar

Arrival in Arusha with an introductory briefing to start the safari. Spend time exploring Arushas lively streets, local food, markets and museums and then check in at Gran Melia Arusha. The hotel offers views toward Mt Meru, a restaurant, spa and pool perfect for relaxation before safari days begin. Breakfast is included on Day 1.

Travel from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. Tarangire is known for large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Expect scenic and peaceful game drives with opportunities for extensive birdwatching. Evening transfer to Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge where full board is provided.

Early morning descent onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a unique safari experience. The crater supports abundant wildlife including hyenas, black rhinos, elephants with large tusks and many lions. Morning mist often rises from the crater revealing forested walls, waterways and hippo pools while wildlife viewing continues all day. Overnight at Serenity Camp with full board included.

Transfer into the Central Serengeti National Park for two days of immersive safari. The Serengeti offers vast open plains and exceptional game viewing including the Great Migration when present and resident predators. Stay at Four Seasons Safari Lodge inside the Central Serengeti where luxurious facilities include an infinity pool overlooking a waterhole frequently visited by elephants. Meals are provided.

A full day in Central Serengeti to continue game drives and wildlife viewing. Enjoy extended safari time to explore different areas of the park, watch plains game and predators, and relax at Four Seasons Safari Lodge with superb views and facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Transfer from Serengeti region to fly to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival transfer to Z Hotel and begin a beach stay. Zanzibar offers long scenic beaches, coral reefs for snorkeling and diving, and the historic Stone Town with spice markets. Breakfast is included on arrival day and hotel accommodation is Z Hotel.

Full beach and island exploration day on Zanzibar. Enjoy long sandy beaches, water based activities on fringing reefs and coral gardens for snorkeling and diving, or explore cultural highlights such as Stone Town and spice markets. Breakfast is provided at the hotel.

Another day on Zanzibar for beach time, island activities and optional excursions such as boat trips, snorkeling or visits to conservation projects. Continue to enjoy Z Hotel and the local coastal atmosphere. Breakfast is included.

Final morning in Zanzibar with breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for departure. This marks the end of the 9 day safari and beach package.
