Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Chandigarh - Shimla (240 km / approx. 5 hours drive)

  Welcome to your ‘Himachal Escape ’ tour! On arrival at the airport in Chandigarh, you will be met and transferred to the charming hill station of Shimla and check in to your hotel.
  The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

  This morning, proceed for a wonderful excursion to Kufri, a small hill station famous for its beautiful and cool refreshing atmosphere that pervades it. In summers, travellers can enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding verdant valleys and snow-capped peaks.
  Later in the evening, visit Mall Road, which is considered as the main street in Shimla, Scandal Point - considered to be a popular tourist spot, Christ Church - one of the first churches built in North India and Lakkad Bazaar - known for wooden toys and articles.
  Note: The vehicle will drop you till the Mall road as per the Himachal Tourism policy.
  Overnight: Shimla

• Day 3 : Shimla – Manali (270 km / approx. 8 hours’ drive)

  This morning after hearty breakfast, proceed for a breathtaking drive to Manali, nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst the Kullu Valley. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful town on your own.

• Day 4 : Manali - Local Sightseeing

  Today after breakfast, visit the four and a half century old Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to the demon goddess Hadimba (an incarnation of Kali) and the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the picturesque town on your own.

  Today, proceed to visit the Solang Valley, a splendid valley between Solang Village and Beas Kund. This valley offers breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-capped mountains, peaks and lush greenery of the dense forest.
  The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this picturesque town at your own space.

• Day 6 : Manali - Chandigarh (290 km / approx. 8 hours’ drive)

  Today, drive to the well planned city of Chandigarh/ Zirakpur. If time permits, visit the famous Rock Garden, a classic example of innovation and recycling at its best. On arrival, check in to the hotel.
  The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or indulge in shopping.
  Overnight: Chandigarh/Zirakpur

• Day 7 : Depart Chandigarh

  Today, bid farewell to your 'Himachal Escape’ tour, as you get transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
