Agra

Agra was established in 1475 by Badal Singh. Agra finds mention in the Mahabharata as Agraban. Agra in those days was considered to be the sister city of Mathura which was more prominent than Agraban. Agra came into its own when the Lodhi Kings chose this place beside the Yamuna to be their capital city. Sikander Lodhi made Agra his capital but Babar defeated the Lodhis to capture not only Agra but also laid the foundation of the Mughal empire.

Jaipur

Jaipur, also known as the Pink City of India, was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) and is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded by hills and dotted with forts, and is one of the links to the famed Golden Triangle of North India along with Delhi and Agra. Jaipur also serves as the most convenient entry point to Rajasthan, India's most colorful and vibrant state.

Mathura

The town of Mathura (Brajbhoomi) is located in the western part of the state of Uttar Pradesh in the northern region of India. It is a part of the great northern plains and is situated on the western bank of the river Yamuna. It is famous as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, an important deity in the Hindu religious pantheon. It is an important pilgrim place of the Hindus and one of the seven most sacred cities in India. The main pilgrim centre in Mathura is the Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi temple. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi

  Arrive at Delhi airport / railway station. Check-in at your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, proceed on a half day sight-seeing tour of old and new Delhi visiting the red fort, chandni chowk, jama masjid, qutub minar and humayun’s tomb. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

• Day 2 : Delhi - Agra

  This day, after an early breakfast, drive from Delhi to Agra, enrobe visit sikandra. Arrive at Agra in the afternoon and check-in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day shopping, or browse through the streets of this culturally rich heritage town. Overnight stay at your hotel in Agra.

  After a relaxed breakfast, set out on a half-day sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit the magnificent red fort and the famous taj mahal. In the afternoon, be at leisure or take an optional tour to Mathura or to taj by sunset. Overnight stay at your hotel in Agra.

  Today after breakfast, drive from Agra to Jaipur, enroute visit fatehpur sikri, and once the capital of Emperor Akbar for almost 14 years. Arrive at Jaipur, check-in at your hotel and relax. Overnight at your hotel in Jaipur.

• Day 5 : Jaipur

  After breakfast this morning, go on a half-day excursion of the amber fort. Here you will have the opportunity to ascend the fort on an elephant’s back and witness the grandeur of the fort, which will leave you spellbound. Later, proceed on a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting the royal palace museum, jantar mantar and hawa mahal. Overnight stay at your hotel in Jaipur.
