  Arrive at Almaty International Airport. After clearing border control & customs, are local representative will meet you & transfer you to your hotel in Almaty. Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, a former capital and cultural and economic heart of the country, is a captivating blend of modern vibrancy and rich history, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the panoramic Tian Shan mountains. The city has all from Soviet-era architecture to bustling bazaars and sophisticated shopping districts to scenic hikes and thrilling ski slopes.

  Explore the city of Almaty by quickly getting acquainted with discovering major. Areas of interest – During this introductory tour, you will visit the First President Park, Republic Square, State Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums at the Academy of Sciences, Abay Square, Kazakhstan Hotel, Palace of the Republic. Panfilov Park & Zenkov Cathedral: The Park is named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soldiers of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are etched at the fearsome war memorial east of the Zenkov Cathedral which depict soldiers from all 15 soviet republics on the map of USSR. The Park is lush green area and it’s a good place to sit, rest, relax and see the bustling sights of the city. Zenkov Cathedral: is one of the most beautiful, magnificent, and architectural monuments of the city of Almaty with the height of 56 meters and is in the green Panfilov Park of Almaty. A. Zenkov had supervised the construction of this cathedral in the early 19th century and legend goes that it was built without a single nail. But unfortunately, it’s not true. Although the design is remarkably unique but it’s because of the advanced technological expertise of that time. Kok Tobe Hill: Kok Tobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty, standing on a 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. It is worth a visit to Kok Tobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the Kok Tobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Novotel and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit-growing gardens. Once you reach the Kok Tobe hill, you would see the famous 372 m high TV Tower, which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city, plus many attractions at the top, including many restaurants serving cuisines from across the globe.

  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Around 10:00 AM, depart for a tour of Issyk Lake. Issyk (or Isik- another name for the lake, translated as “a door” from Kazakh) is a picturesque, alpine lake surrounded by unusually beautiful nature of thick forests and spacious flower fields. Explore the crystal-clear green water surrounded by mountains at Lake Issyk. Later in the afternoon, we return to Almaty & explore the Arbat Street. Arbat Street or the Zhybek Zholy Street is Almaty’s main shopping street, which is spread from Abylaikhan Avenue to Furmanov Street and is best explored on foot. While walking down, one can see the diversity of shopping in the area. This pedestrian shopping street is famous for having the TSUM Shop, which is a cross between a department store and a bazaar, and is mostly used by the residents to fulfil their daily needs. And while walking, if you want to relax, look no further because this street has all sorts of cafes and restaurants, from high dining to local food, you name it, and this street has it. We will experience the sights, scents, and flavors of this lively Green Bazaar, & Indulge your sweet tooth with a visit to the Rakhat Chocolate Factory.

  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, around 11 AM, we proceed for a full-day excursion to Shymbulak Ski Resort. Located in the breathtaking Ile-Alatau National Park, just 25 kilometers from Almaty, is the largest ski resort in Central Asia and a must-visit destination for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike. Nestled at an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level, the resort offers stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Tian Shan mountains, making it a year-round playground for outdoor enthusiasts. In winter, Shymbulak transforms into a skier's paradise, featuring over 20 kilometers of ski runs suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. Later in the evening, transfer to Almaty International Airport for your flight to your onward destination.
