Arusha National Park Day Trip

Morning: Pick-Up & Transfer to Arusha National Park
You’ll be picked up early from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and driven to Arusha National Park (about 45 minutes from Arusha, 1.5–2 hours from Moshi). Upon arrival, complete park formalities and begin your adventure.

Morning Game Drive & Ngurdoto Crater
Start with a scenic game drive, passing through lush forests and open savannahs. Explore the Ngurdoto Crater, often called “Little Ngorongoro,” with its swampy floor and abundant wildlife. Look out for buffalo, warthogs, monkeys, and birds.

Late Morning: Momella Lakes & Canoeing Option
Proceed to the Momella Lakes, a group of alkaline lakes famous for flamingos and diverse birdlife. You may also opt for a canoe safari to experience the park from a unique perspective.

Afternoon: Picnic Lunch & Walking Safari
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, take an optional guided walking safari with a park ranger, where you may spot giraffes up close, along with colobus monkeys and antelopes.

Late Afternoon: Return to Arusha/Moshi
After an exciting day of exploration, drive back to Arusha or Moshi in the late afternoon, arriving at your hotel by evening.
