Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Guwahati -The Door to the Northeast.

Arrival at the Airport/Railway Station of Guwahati, meet our representative.
Transfer to your hotel. Evening free to relax.
Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2

Guwahati - Shillong (100 km / approx.3 hrs)

Breakfast; then drive to Shillong, the Scotland of the East.
During the journey, see the spectacular Umiam Lake.
Arrive at your hotel and visit the local markets such as the Police bazaar in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3

Shillong to Cherrapunji and back (60 km)

Nohkalikai Falls

After breakfast, go to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the rainyest places on earth.
Explore the mighty Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters falls and the interesting Mawsmai Cave.
Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4

Shillong to Mawlynnong and Dawki- Back to Shillong.

Full day outing to Mawlynnong, the Cleanest Village in Asia.
See the amazing living root bridges and have the view of the sky walk.
Go on to Dawki to see the unbelievably transparent waters of umngot river.
Go back to Shillong and spend the night.

Day 5

Shillong to Kaziranga National Park (280 km/ approx. 6-7 hrs)

Having had a light breakfast, start your picturesque journey to Kaziranga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Get into your resort close to the national park.
Spend the evening unwinding in the wilderness.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 6

Wildlife Safari in Kaziranga National Park.

A joyful day of game hunting,
Morning: Take an Elephant Safari (when available) or a Jeep Safari to Central Range (Kohora).
Afternoon: Venture out in another Jeep Safari into the Western Range (Bagori) after lunch to another scenery with better chances of wildlife like rhinos, elephants and wild buffalo.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 7

Kaziranga to Guwahati (200 km / approx. 5 hrs)

Drive back to Guwahati, though after breakfast.
On the way, you can also go to a traditional Assamese Silk weaving center.
Arrive at your hotel in Guwahati. Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Guwahati Sightseeing

Brahmaputra River

Sightseeing in Guwahati spiritual and cultural front after breakfast.
Pay attention to the sacred Kamakhya Temple situated on Nilachal hill.
Visit the endangered species in the Assam state zoo cum botanical garden.
Then have a tranquil sailing on the mighty Brahmaputra River.

Departure from Guwahati

Check out of the hotel after having breakfast.
Transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station with the unforgettable journey.
