  • Day 1 : Guwahati - Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary (ASSAM)

    Description :

    Arrive Guwahati airport and visit Kamakhya temple later transfer to Pobitora Wild Life Sanctuary (70 Kms/2 Hrs). Check in
    to Hotel. Overnight in Guwahati.

    Day 2 : Pobitora - Manas National Park (ASSAM)

    Description :

    Morning 01 round of jeep Safari. Later drive to Manas National Park (235 kms / 05 hrs). Reach Manas and check in to hotel.
    Overnight in Manas.
    The National Park was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973.Situated in the foothills of Bhutanese Himalaya, it famous for
    its majestic Tiger and Golden Leaf Monkey discovered only a few decades ago. It is a paradise for bird lovers, birds which
    can be seen here are the Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water

    Day 3 : Manas National Park (ASSAM)

    Description :

    After breakfast go for a jeep safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park – Mathanguri. Overnight at Manas

    Day 4 : Manas - Nameri National Park (ASSAM)

    Description :

    After breakfast drive to Nameri / Bhalukpong (320 Kms / 7 Hrs drive) and check in Eco Camp / Prashaanti Cottages. Dinner
    & Overnight.Nameri National Park:
    Covering an area of 200sq.kms, it is situated in the District of Sonitpur; the Nameri is the third National Park of Assam. It is a
    Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The inaccessibility and
    continuity with the neibouring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. There is a good prey base in the
    form of Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and Gaur. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for
    Tiger and Leopards.

    Day 5 : Nameri (ASSAM)

    Description :

    Today early morning at about 05.30 a.m, we set to explore the park on foot (3.2kms), after the trek back to the camp. After
    having breakfast go for an exclusive rafting (mild rapids) trip on Jia – Bhoreli River, flowing along the National Park, for
    water birds. Return back to the camp. Overnight stay at camp.

    Day 6 : Nameri - Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)

    Description :

    After breakfast check out drive to Kaziranga (120 Kms / 2 ½ hrs drives). Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

    Kaziranga National Park:
    In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned
    rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was
    declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.

    Day 7 : Kaziranga (ASSAM)

    Description :

    After breakfast enjoy the Park on a Jeep. Evening visit tea garden and local villages. Overnight at Kaziranga.

    Day 8 : Kaziranga - Guwahati Airport drop (ASSAM)

    Description :

    After breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati airport in time. Tour Ends Here.

    Kaziranga National Park - a world heritage site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Though sighting of tigers are difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage, their presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial markings. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer.

    Manas, at the base of foot hills of the Bhutan-Himalayas in the state of Assam, with unique biodiversity and landscape is one of the first reserves included in the network of tiger reserve under Project tiger in 1973.Nameri National Park is located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India, about 40 kilometres from Tezpur and the third national park in Assam. The Pakhui (Pakke) Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh adjoins the Park on its North-Eastern point. Together they constitute an area of over 1000 km 2 of semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests with cane and bamboo brakes and narrow strips of open grassland along rivers. Nameri is a birder's paradise with over 300 species of birds.

    • Description : Visited this place on 7-May & 8-May. These cottages are pretty close to the entrance of Manas National Park. Location of cottages is between Park on one end and Manas river on other. Cottages are nice and cozy. The size of cottages is just perfect for a couple and max 2 kids. Nice little place near Manas. Very friendly staff. Very good food. Good guides who are very knowledgeable about birds. A solar water heater will provide some hot water, but may not be enough late in the evening. Very basic infrastructure but enjoyable.

Pigmyhog Conservation and Breading Center - It is also an endangered species. This is the smallest(size) species of pig. Only 500 exists in the world. It is located 80 meters away from Eco Camp. Mising (Miri) Village - A mising or miri tribe village is located near to Eco Camp. It is 2 km far from camp. Bhalukpong - This is the border of Assam and Arunachal. A famous place for tourist attraction. It is 25 km far from Eco Camp.
