Day 1

Arrive in Vienna

Your holiday begins as you arrive in Vienna. Check in to your hotel and relax. Rest of the day is free to explore this imperial city.

Day 2

Vienna Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for a city tour. View the historic sites including the Ringstrasse, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History, the Hofburg, Parliament, City Hall, the Burgtheater, the University and Votive Church. A true highlight of this half-day tour is the visit to Schonbrunn Palace. This afternoon is at your leisure to soak up with the city's history and culture. Consider taking an optional excursion to see another side of Vienna, Mayerling Seegrotte * tour to the Vienna Woods, the Roman City of Baden, the Mayerling hunting lodge, past the Holdrichsmuhle where Franz Schubert composed “The Linden Tree”, to Seegrotte for a boat ride on Europe's largest subterranean lake and a photostop of Liechtenstein Castle on you way back to Vienna.

Day 3

Train to Salzburg

Today after breakfast, travel to the rail station where you will board your train to Salzburg. Sit back, relax and admire the passing scenery during the four hour train journey to the birthplace of Mozart. On arrival, make your way to your centrally-located hotel, with rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4

Explore Salzburg

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Later use your Salzburg Card to see where the film 'The Sound of Music' was shot as per your convenience . You have unlimited use of Salzburg's public transportation system at your disposal plus free admission to 27 attractions and museums including the cable-car Untersberg, the Catacombs of St. Peter, Hellbrunn Palace, Mozart's Residence, the Museum of Modern Art, a cruise -Amadeus Salzburg (April to October) as well as discounts at other attractions.

Day 5

Salzburg - Innsbruck

After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to the Salzburg train station to board your train for Innsbruck. Arrive in Innsbruck, check in to your hotel and relax. Later proceed for an orientation tour on your own to see the Golden Roof with its gold plated copper tiles, a characteristic landmark of Innsbruck. Walk down cobblestone pathways of Maria Theresien Strasse and live though the medieval European culture with the splendid Alps in the background which provides a perfect picturesque view.

Wattens

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Wattens, where you will visit the Swarovski world of crystals. Marvel at the crystalline works of art. This is a great opportunity to buy a souvenir for your family. Rest of day free to explore the beautiful city.

Back to Vienna

After breakfast proceed to the Innsbruck train station to board your train for Vienna. Arrive in Vienna, check in to your hotel. Today you have free- time for your last minute shopping.
