Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Cochin

Arrive cochin where you are greeted, transferred to your hotel ans assisted with check-in. Stay at Fort Heritage for two nights. Today is at leisure to relax or explore Fort Cochin on your own.

Day 2 In Cochin

Jewish SynagogueMattancherry PalaceDutch Palace

Today’s guided tour of Cochin will include sights such as the Dutch Palace also known as Mattancherry Palace built by the Portuguese and presented to the Raja of Cochin in 1555 AD; the jewish Synagogue built in 1568 AD, and St, Francis Church, the Oldest European Church in India Originally built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD. This evening witness the classical dance-drama of Kerala called Kathakali.

Day 3 Cochin-kumarakom

Drive to the lush backwaters of Kerala to Kumarakom ( 3hrs) where you will stay for two nights at Coconut Lagoon. This is Kerala’s heartland of Lagoons; palm fringed lakes and paddy fields, interlinked with hundreds of winding canals. Rest of the day for independent activities on your own.

Day 4 In Kumarakom

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

Day at leisure for independent activities. Explore the village of Kumarakom, a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake or visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, noted for many species of migratory birds.

Day 5 Kumarakom-vechoor

Afternoon, embark your own private Ketuvellam, a traditional Kerala rice barge and spend the day cruising the backwater canals, watching village life unfold as you gently float by. This is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Overnight on board in your air conditioned cabin with private facilities.

Day 6 In Vechoor

After breakfast, continue to enjoy the cruise. Later, disembark your rice barge at Philipkutty’s Farm for your two night homestay. Here you will experience traditional Keralan hospitality. You are welcomed by the Philipkutty family who have owned this farm since 1950. Rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the various plantations at the farm.

Day 7 In Vechoor

Today is at leisure to relax or spend time with the family learning about traditional cooking, farming, spices and the history of the sourrounding villages.

Day 8 Vechoor-kovalam

This morning depart Vechoor and take the coast road to Kovalam (4hrs). Kovalam is an beautiful coastal area with silvery sands fringed by rows of tall palm trees sheltered bays and fishing villages. Stay for the next five nights at Travancore Heritage.

Day 9 In Kovalam

The next four days are free for you to relax by the beach. You also have an option to take a half day city tour of Trivandrum or an excursion to Kanya Kumari, where the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea Meet and home to the Kumari Amman Temple, dedicated to the goddess Parvati.

Day 10 In Kovalam

Full day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Rates mentioned are per person on twin sharing basis.

Extra Adult sharing the same room will be charged 50% of the package rates (per person rates)

Extra child 5-12 years will be charged 40% of the package rates

Entry & exit points will be nearest to the destinations

All confirmations are subject to availability at the time of booking. Should the no. of passengers, inclusions, hotel category or type of transport change at any given point the cost is liable to change and payable as advised by us.

Rates/itineraries/payment terms are subject to change without any prior notice.

For Ac Vehicle A/c will work only in the plains and will be switched-off during hill drives.

Children below 5 years accommodation will be on complimentary basis sharing parent’s room and breakfast charges as applicable.

The given cost is inclusive of all services mentioned in the quotation and no refund will be processed for any service which is not avail by guest once in tour.

Hotel Check In / out time is 14:00, early Check in and Late Checkout depends on Availability of Rooms, also with supplement charges.
