Day 1 Arrival Manali

Arrival Manali, check in Hotel. Visit Local Sight Seeing. Night Halt at Hotel.
Day 2 Manali Batal 100 Kms / 3 Hr.

Rohtang Pass

Travel by jeep from Manali to Batal over the Rohtang Pass (3978m). Overnight in tents.
Day 3 Batal - Chandertal 16 Kms / 7 Hr.

Climb up to Kunzum pass (4558 m) to have glimpses of Spiti valley and then trek down to Chandertal lake (The moon lake - 4270 m). Chandertal is of exquisite beauty between a lower ridge and the main Kunzum range, the outlet being into Chandra river. Overnight in tents.

Day 4 Chandertal

Day at leisure at Chandertal lake. Overnight at tents.

Day 5 Chandertal - Tokpo Gangma 12 Kms / 6 Hr.

Enjoy a good view of the mountain peaks and glaciers throughout the trek to reach Tokpo Gongma (4400 m). Tokpo means river in Tibetan and Gongma means big. Overnight in tents.

Day 6 Tokpa Gongma - Tokpo Yongma10 Kms / 5hr.

The trek today involves crossing a river. The river should be crossed in the morning when the water is low. Reach Tokpo Yongma (4640 m). Overnight in tents.

Day 7 Tokpo Yongma - Baralachala10 Kms / 5hr.

Baralachala (4883 m) is an interesting 8 kms long pass and gives rise to three rivers viz Chandra, Bhaga and Yunam. Baralacha means �pass with cross roads on summit �. Roads from Zanskar, Ladakh, Spiti and Lahaul meet on top of the pass. Overnight in tents.

Day 8 Baralachala - Zingzingbar 18 Kms / 7hr.

Trek via Surajtal, the source of Bhaga river. Descend along Bhaga river and reach Zingzingbar (4270 m). Overnight in Tents.

Day 9 Zingzingbar - Manali 167 Kms / 6hr.

Travel from Zingzingbar to Manali by jeep. The trek ends in Manali. Check in Hotel, Night Halt.
