Beautiful Guwahati- Shillong- Cherrapunjee Tour

Welcome to Guwahati! After reaching there, transfer to your hotel. Post lunch, visit the Kamakhya Temple, on Nilachal hill 8 kilometres west of Guwahati city, which is one of the most venerated shaktipeeths in India. The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya, an incarnation of Sati. After the visit to the temple, enjoy a walk around the city and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Shillong. Arrive at Shillong and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the St. Catholic Cathedral and Golf Course, followed by a visit to the Mall road. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunjee. Once you arrive there, visit Mawsmai Cave, Khasi Monoliths, Koh Ramhah, Seven Sisters Falls (one of the longest in India). Later, transfer to your hotel/resort for a comfortable overnight stay. The evening is free to explore the place on your own.

Today after breakfast visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle. All together, it will take 2-3 hours one way to reach the site, depending on the physical fitness of the person. This trek involves climbing rocky steps, ramp and trails. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stream. Later, trek back to your hotel/resort. The evening is free to explore the place on your own.

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati and transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Delhi or Kolkata. We hope you had a memorable trip!
