Day 1 : Cochin (Arrival)
Arrive at Cochin International Airport followed by a meeting with our Colorful Tors Trekking Adventure representative who will assist you with transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 2 : Cochin
On day 2, embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin arranged by our tour representative. The attractions that you will visit include Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Bolghatty Palace, Kerala History Museum, Gunda & Willingdon Islands, Hill Palace Museum, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica and Parishnath Taamburan Museum. In the evening, proceed to witness the spectacular Kathakali dance performance. Later, return back to the hotel for overnight stay
Day 3 : Cochin – Munnar
Today, check out of your hotel and leave by road for Munnar. On reaching Munnar, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk in the lush green surroundings and marvel at the beauty of Munnar. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 4 : Munnar
During the day, take delight in the breathtaking beauty of the Munnar valley and explore the verdant fragrant tea plantations. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Munnar – Periyar
In the morning, hit the road to Periyar. On reaching Periyar, you will be transferred to the hotel. Post lunch set out to explore the local fishing village, be a spectator of the honey collection process, and marvel at the verdant flora. Later, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Periyar
Early morning, proceed for a boat safari on Periyar Lake. After the safari, proceed for visit to a spice plantation. Return back to your hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 7 : Periyar – Kumarakom
In the morning, proceed to Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check into the backwater resort. Post lunch set out for a fun-filled backwater cruise. On the way, explore the avifauna population of Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Stay overnight in Kumarakom.
Day 8 : Kumarakom
Day 8 is free for you to relax amidst the scenic environs of Kumarakom. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 9 : Kumarakom – Alleppey
Start your day with a houseboat cruise through the beautiful backwater region of Kerala. Glide on the tranquil waters of the Lake Vembanad and marvel at the lush green spice plantations, fishing villages, and lake en-route. Stay overnight in the houseboat.
Day 10 : Alleppey – Kovalam
In the morning, disembark the houseboat at Alleppey and drive towards Kovalam. Upon arrival, check into the beach resort. The day is free to relax on the beach. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 11 : Kovalam
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kovalam.
Day 12 : Kovalam
On day 12, take a stroll on the beaches of Kovalam and explore the surroundings and tranquil locales. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 13 : Departure Trivandrum
In time transfer to Trivandrum International airport for flight to onward destination.
