Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro Airport - Thimphu

  Meet & Greet On Arrival At Paro Airport. Transfer to Thimphu (7,710 Ft.), the Capital City of Bhutan. On Arrival, Check-in At the Hotel. in the Evening, You May Walk Around and Explore Thimpu Town. Overnight Stay At Thimphu.

• Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing

  After Breakfast, Visit Kuensel Phodrang (buddha Statue On the Top of the Kuensel Phodrang), National Memorial Chorten (monument) and Folk Heritage Museum. in the Afternoon Visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre (the National Animal of Bhutan Can Be Seen Here). in the Evening, Visit Tashichho Dzong (fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight Stay At Thimphu.

• Day 3 : Thimphu - Punakha / Wangdue Sightseeing

  After breakfast, drive to Punakha (4298 ft.) / Wangdue, On the way, stop at Dochu La Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. Arrive in Punakha and check-in at hotel. Later in the afternoon visit Punakha Dzong (built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal). For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as The Temple of Fertility (was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, The Divine Madman). You have the evening free and may spend it at leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Gangtey (Phobjikha) OR Punakha Sightseeing

  After breakfast, set out for a full day excursion to Gangtey (9,840 ft.). Gangtey is the home of Black-necked Crane which migrates from the arid plains of Tibet in the north. It is a beautiful valley of Bhutan. You can also visit Gangtey Gompha. In the evening, return to your accommodation. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue. 
  OR 
  Instead of going to Gangtey (Phobjikha), you may opt to spend the day in Punakha Valley itself. After breakfast, hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten. It is about a 45 mins easy hike to the top of the hill and offers a breathtaking view of the Punakha Valley. Also visit Punakha Suspension Bridge and Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery. You may spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.

• Day 5 : Punakha/Wangdue - Paro Sightseeing

  After breakfast, drive to Paro (7483 ft.). On the way, stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Ta Dzong National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, and religious thangkha, etc. See Rinpung Dzong (it means fortress of the heap of jewels). This dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. You may spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

• Day 6 : Paro Sightseeing

  After breakfast, hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery also known as Tigers Nest (2hrs hike from the base camp). Later visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro.

  After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Paro Airport for your onward journey.

• Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
• Entrance Fees.
• Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, road blockage, and political disturbances (strikes), etc will be borne by the client and is directly payable on the spot.
• Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost of surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
• Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.
• GST as per the current rate (5%)

Prices are based on a minimum of 2 adults traveling together.
Prices are based on Standard Rooms.
Surcharge is applicable for a passenger traveling alone.
'Child Rate' applies to children, between the ages of 2 to 12 years.
Prices for Non Indian Nationals are available on request.
These rates are not applicable during any Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Trade-fairs and High Season.
All bookings and confirmations are subject to availability.
Amendment charges, cancellation charges will be applicable as per our terms & conditions.
Any increase in the hotel tariffs, fuel charges or taxes, which may come into effect prior to the departure, will lead to an increase in the tour price. Any difference in the price will be payable by the client.
