After breakfast go for morning sightseeing - visit the Indigenous hospital where traditional old art of healing is still practiced, Art & Craft school, National library, Royal goldsmith workshop and Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, 15 century. Afternoon - visit the Changangkha monastery, Motithang mini zoo to see the rare "Takin" national animal of Bhutan and drive further down with good view of the Thimphu valley. Visit the new Drupthob nunnery temple and Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point), Tashichho Dzong and Handicraft centers. Overnight stay at hotel in Thimpu.

In the morning drive to Punakha via the Dochu La Pass, where we will stop for a hot drink and to enjoy views of the Eastern Himalaya ranges. In the afternoon visit Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), built in the 15th century by the ‘Divine Mad Man’ (Lama Drukpa Kuenley). Overnight stay at hotel in Punakha.

Drive from Punakha to Bumthang via Trongsa, the gateway to central Bhutan. You can stop to visit the impressive Trongsa Dzong which commands the eye from miles away. Visit the new museum in the watchtower dedicated to the Royal Wangchuk dynasty, which tells the stories of the Dzong and features personal belongings of the Kings and Queens of Bhutan. Continue your journey through some of Bhutan’s most beautiful landscapes to Bumthang. Evening drive to Paro and Overnight stay at hotel in Paro

After breakfast in the morning transfer to Chelela Pass(02 hrs journey) which is one of the highest vantage points. In winters, you will encounter frozen rivers, waterfalls, alpine flowers and snow on the way to the pass. From the city’s pinnacle, you can marvel at the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys while watching the famous Himalayan yaks grazing in the distant horizon. Back to Hotel and night stay at Paro.

Early morning hike to viewpoint of Taktsang, the Tiger's Nest (one and a half hours walk, optional). This magical monastery clings to a vertical granite cliff of 3,000ft above the valley floor. On the way back drive up to the Drugyel Dzong. This Dzong is of historical importance (which was in ruin for many years and now it is under construction), from whose ramparts the Bhutanese repelled Tibetan invaders. On a clear day one can view the sacred Mount Chomolhari, Mountain of Goddess (24,000 ft) and also Visit KyichuLhakhang. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has a fine collection of ancient Thangka painting, textiles, weapons and artifacts. Walk to the traditional wooden bridge. Back to hotel and Overnight stay in Paro.
