Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Lucknow

Arrive in Lucknow, transfer to hotel, later visit of Lucknow. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 2

Lucknow / Sravasti (175 Km & 4-5 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Sravasti, check-in into hotel. Later visit Sahet Mahet, capital of ancient Kingdom of Kosala, Jetvana Vihar & Buddhist Temples. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3

Sravasti / Lumbini (230 Km & 6-7 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Lumbini enroute visit Kapilvastu, Check-in into hotel. Later visit Lumbini is the place where Lord Buddha was born. In the twenty-first years after his coronation, Emperor Ashoka visited the birth place and raised a pillar on the spot. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 4

Lumbini / Kushinagar (175 Km & 5-6 hrs drive)

After breakfast short visit of Lumbini Maya Devi Temple and monasteries then drive to Kushinagar, check-in into hotel. Later visit of Mahaparinirvana temple. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 5

Kushinagar / Vaishali / Patna (320 Km & 8-9 hrs drive)

After breakfast short visit of Kushinagar and drive to Patna enroute visit Vaishali is believed to be the first republic of the world, having an elected body of representatives hold special significance for Buddhist Devotees. Check-in into hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Patna / Nalanda / Rajgir / Bodhgaya (200 Km & 8-9 hrs drive)

Gaya

After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya enroute visit Nalanda and Rajgir, check-in into hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Bodhgaya

Full day visit various temple and monastery. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Bodhgaya / Varanasi (250 Km & 5-6 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Varanasi, check-in into hotel. Later take an excursion to Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Varanasi

Early morning transfer to the Ghats of Holy River Ganges to take a boat ride - a very spiritual experience. Later walk through the narrow lanes of Varanasi exploring various temples. After breakfast full day tour of Sarnath and visit Benaras Hindu University. Stay overnight at hotel.

Varanasi / Delhi

After breakfast check out from the hotel then transfer to airport / railway station for onward journey.
