Day 1 Arrival In Varanasi (sarnath)

Archaeological Museum

Distance: Arrive in Varanasi Things to Do: Visit Sarnath (10 km from Varanasi) – where Buddha gave his first sermon. Explore Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara. Visit Sarnath Archaeological Museum. Evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat (optional).

Day 2 Varanasi To Bodh Gaya

Mahabodhi TempleBodhi TreeGreat Buddha Statue

Distance: 250 km (~5–6 hrs) Things to Do: Drive to Bodh Gaya – the place of Buddha’s enlightenment. Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Animesh Lochan Chaitya. Explore Great Buddha Statue, Thai and Tibetan Monasteries.

Day 3 Bodh Gaya To Rajgir & Nalanda, Then To Patna

Distance: Bodh Gaya to Rajgir (70 km), Rajgir to Nalanda (15 km), Nalanda to Patna (90 km) Things to Do: In Rajgir: Visit Vulture’s Peak (Griddhakuta), Venuvana, Japanese Stupa. In Nalanda: Explore Nalanda University ruins, Nalanda Museum. Drive to Patna, overnight stay.

Distance: Patna to Vaishali (55 km), Vaishali to Kushinagar (230 km) Things to Do: In Vaishali: Visit Ashokan Pillar, Ananda Stupa, Buddha Relic Stupa. Drive to Kushinagar – where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana.

Day 5 Kushinagar To Lumbini (nepal)

Distance: Kushinagar to Lumbini (160 km, ~5 hrs, border crossing at Sonauli) Things to Do: Visit Maya Devi Temple – birthplace of Buddha. Explore Ashokan Pillar, World Peace Pagoda, Lumbini Museum. Visit various international monasteries.

Day 6 Lumbini To Sravasti (india)

Distance: Lumbini to Sravasti (170 km, ~4–5 hrs) Things to Do: Visit Jetavana Monastery – where Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons. Explore Anathapindika’s Stupa, Angulimala Stupa, Gandhakuti.

Day 7 Sravasti To Lucknow (departure)

Distance: Sravasti to Lucknow (170 km, ~4 hrs) Things to Do: If time permits, explore Buddhist relics in Lucknow Museum. Fly/train back to home destination.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

* Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
* Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
* Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
