AFN TRAVEL offers a route based on the ancient history of our state. In a few days, you will get to know our ever-young and beautiful capital and understand why ancient people used to call Azerbaijan the Land of Fire.

In the evening of the first day, we will meet you in the Heydar Aliyev Airport and take you to your cozy hotel rooms. The next day you will start your acquaintance with Baku from Mountain Park. From its height, you will be able to enjoy a breath-taking view of the city, which spreads alongside the Bay of Baku. After that, we will visit the Old City with its unique serene atmosphere – it feels like time’s stood still here since the days of the newly built Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower. Baku’s modern architectural objects are no less interesting – you will be surely delighted with the gorgeous Flame Towers at night.

These buildings have the form of flames and remind us of the other fires that we will see on the third day of our tour. We will show you Yanar Dağ, the Burning Mountain, which has been covered with natural fires since the dawn of time. Fire worshipers have deemed this place sacred for centuries. In its current form, the Ateshgah, which is also called the Temple of Fire, was built by Hindus 400 years ago, but a Zoroastrian sanctuary had existed on this very spot long before our era. For the moment, the place is considered a state conservation area and we will certainly visit it.

On the fourth day, it’s time to say goodbye. Before the flight, you will have enough time to walk around Baku, do shopping or visit places you liked once again. We know what it feels like – leaving our beautiful country – and you will surely consider the idea of coming back. So come back! Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

We will meet you at the International Airport, take you to your hotel and complete registration.
Day 2 : Baku Tour

This fascinating tour designed by AFN TRAVEL operators will show you our ever-young capital in every detail. One day isn’t enough to get to know this many-sided city but we will do our best to introduce its most valuable sites to you – sites in Baku we appreciate and love. Let us describe some of the attractions you will see during this tour.

Mountain Park. It’s located very high in the mountains. We will admire the view, enjoy the nature, make photos against the picturesque background: the city, the bay and other landscapes.

Martyrs’ Lane. It’s in the same park. A memorable historical place, which makes deep impression on visitors.

National Flag Square. Would you like a photo next to a Guinness record holder? It’s amazing that this 165-meter high mast with a huge blue-red-green cloth withstands strong winds.

The Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. This bizarre building was built not long ago but has already become famous far beyond the country’s borders. The Center boasts its appearance as well as its interior. One can visit museums, exhibitions and cultural events here.

The Palace of the Shirvanshahs. Ancient regents were building their luxurious homes for hundreds of years. That’s why this complex unites several styles from different historical periods. Fine stone ornamentation and amazing shapes!

The Maiden Tower. Once the Caspian waves used to splash at its very bottom. We love the tower’s beauty and mystery. It inspired many poets, writers, artists and musicians. The Maiden Tower is one of the most valuable sites in Baku, we can’t miss it!

Baku Boulevard. Even before reconstruction, it was as long as 16 km. But now our precious boulevard stretches for 25 km! Undoubtedly, you should have a walk here after dark: Baku lights are incredibly beautiful at night! You will discover anew the Flame Towers, Baku Crystal Hall and other modern architectural objects.

Free time

Evening walks around the city will complete the overall picture. Besides, many cultural, entertaining and other events take place in the evening.
Day 3 : Trip to Absheron

The Absheron Peninsula will change your view of Azerbaijan and contribute to your love for this country. After having breakfast in the hotel, we will go to a real Land of Fire.

Yanar Dağ with its powerful fire aura is a natural phenomenon you will never forget. Natural gas has been burning on the surface for a few thousand years. This spectacle astonishes people even in the XXI century. No wonder, travelers have attributed mystical properties to this place since the dawn of time.

The Ateshgah Temple. A majestic structure built by Indian fire worshipers looks like the mysterious temples from the Indiana Jones movies. Nevertheless, you’re not in a movie but in one of the world-renowned ‘places of power’.

Qala is a big open-air archaeological complex. You will find a well-preserved castle, museums, and plenty of shops selling handicrafts and souvenirs here.

Evening Baku

After the tour, we’d like to invite you to one of the most remarkable restaurants in the capital. The farewell dinner will be on us. After the best dishes and drinks of the local cuisine, you’ll be able to take a stroll through the night Baku once again.
Day 4 : Departure

You will breakfast in the hotel. Before the flight, you will have enough time to walk around the city, visit boutiques and Baku shopping malls.

This is where our Caucasian Tour ends. AFN TRAVEL employees will comfortably take you to the airport and make sure you have successfully completed the registration procedures and boarded your flight.
