The circuit of Chota Chardham Yatra consists of four sites - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Badrinath is also one of the four destinations (with each destination being in different corners of the country) of the longer Char Dham from which the Chota Char Dham likely draws its name.
The Annual Char Dham Yatra restarted in May 2014, after remaining suspended since the outbreak of 2013 Uttarakhand floods. The footfall has now improved due to proactive measures taken by the government authorities. Accessible until the 1950s only by arduous and lengthy walking trails in hilly area with height repeatedly exceeded 4000 meters, the Chota Char Dham was regularly done by wandering ascetics and other religious professionals, and those who could afford a traveling entourage. While the individual sites and the circuit as a whole were well known to Hindus on the plains below, they were not a particularly visible aspect of yearly religious culture.

Barkot To Yamnotri
Early morning wake up & depart to Jankichatti via Syanchatti, 41 km motarable up to Jankichatti & 3.5 km trek to Yamnotri.
After arriving Yamnotri visit Holy temple of Yamuna Mata situated on the bank of Yamuna River, do Pooja & blessing of Pujari. Visit nearby places of Yamnotri like Surya Kund, Divya Shilla & Yamuna Bai Kund. After Lunch return back to Barkot, 3.5 km trek to Jankichatti & 41 km drive to Barkot.

Barkot To Harsil
Barkot to Harsil Overnight in Harsil.
Harsil To Gangotri
Gangotri, Temple of Maa Ganga, in the bank of Ganga River & Gombak, the source of the Ganga River. Morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri Temple via Harsil, Bhaironghati. Most prefer to dip in Bhagirathi River and after that worship in Gangotri Temple, explore Himalayan view & after lunch return back to Uttarkashi for night halt. It will take around 4 hours to cover, full journey is motarable.

Uttarkashi To Guptkashi
Morning tea & breakfast in Uttarkashi & drive to Guptkashi, its long drive today via Ghansali, Agasthmuni & many small & big village of three Districts Uttarakshi, Tihari & Rudraprayag. Guptakashi is situated in Rudraprayag district, there is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (Vishwanath), visit temple & surroundings of Guptkashi. Ukhimath can be seen from there which is on way to highest Temple of Lord Shiva “Tunganth”. From Guptkashi another route takes to Kalimath & Madmaheswer.
Check in hotel & visit confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini River in Rudraprayag. Night stay in Guptkashi.
Guptkashi To Kedarnath
NOTE: Heli tickets are for the same day up and down. Kedarnath Darshan and back to Guptkashi.

Chopta To Badrinath
Badrinath is the last Dham of Chardham Yatra.
Morning after breakfast we will start drive to Badrinath pass through many well know places Gaucher, Nandprayag, Chamoli, Garurganga, Joshimath, Vishnuprayag, Govindghat, Pandukeshwer and many beautiful villages, waterfalls, water streams, river confluences and Green forest which will encourage you to journey again & again in Himalaya region. Check in hotel or Guest house after that take dip in hot water Kund before visiting temple, visit temple & its campus many idols is there of gods.
Night stay in Badrinath.
Badrinath - Mana - Joshimath
Wake up early in the morning & depart to Mana Village. Explore Mana Village & nearby places like Bheem Pul, Vasundhara Falls, Saraswati River & Neelkanth peak etc. Mana is the last village near China & Tibet border. Explore Mana & Drive back to Joshimath after Lunch.
Night stay in Rishikesh
Rishikesh To Delhi , Airport / Railway Station
Today is the last day of journey, after breakfast depart to Rishikesh, on the way visit Karnaprayag for confluence of Alaknanda & Pinder River and Lord Karna Temple. Also visit Deoprayag for Alaknanda & Bhagirathi River which formed Ganga here.
