Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Chettinad & Experience

  Upon arrival in our executive will convoy you to Mansion. Chettinad is something of a world apart and a truly unique destination. Proceed on a day visit to cover the local markets in Chettinad, visit a tile making factory to observe the local craft and hhave a delicious Lunch at a living household in Chettinad. Later in the day, we proceed to a snack making unit where South India`s most celebrated and rare dishes come from. The chief among them are Ukkarai, Kandarappam, Karupatti Paniyaram, Kavanarisi, Pal Paniyaram, Thenkuzhal and Seepu seedai among many others and the very popular dish of the region is the `Chicked Chettinad. Overnight in Chettinad.;
• Day 2 : Sightseen

  Today after breakfast, we start our day on a Visit to The Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Devakottai which is famous for the 108 statues of Vinayakar ( Lord Ganesha ). Later we walk through the streets which gives one the pleasure of walking through a typical Chettiar lane lined with old mansions and the most famous being Periya Minor`s Veedu. Later we proceed to the famous museums of Kaviarsar Kannadhasan Mani Mandapam, built in honor of late poet-laureate. The has a museum amazing collection of artefacts -traditional jewellery, clothing, huge copper vats and grain bins. Later stop by a living household in Chettinad to have your delicious Lunch. Evening we take a bullock cart ride and explore the district headquarters of Karaikudi. This is a perfect place to slow down, walk the quiet streets and really meet the local people and it does really feel like travelling back a few centuries. Overnight in Chettinad.;
• Day 3 : Departure

  Today after breakfast, we transfer you back to your onward destination with fun filled Memories.;
