Chiemsee Tour Package

Package Overview

Your guide and separate driver pick you up from your hotel at 9 a.m. and take you to the Chiemsee, one of the most beautiful lakes surrounding Munich. Your guide then takes you on the public ferry to Frauenchiemsee, where you can have a quick walk around the idyllic island with an old monastery and a beautiful garden café. Then continue by boat to Herrenchiemsee to visit (after a 20-minute walk) the last of King Ludwig’s castles, the one he modeled after Versailles, but never succeeded in finishing. Nevertheless it is a quite impressive structure. You return via Wildenwart where you have the opportunity to enjoy an early meal in one of Bavaria’s most beautiful beer gardens (drinks and meals not included!)
