Package Overview

Every year dedicated bird watchers and conservationists survey bird species occurring all over the country. The Chitwan National Park (CNP) is one of them which are also a world heritage property. It is a rich natural area in the Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile as well as some birds. Bird watching tour in Chitwan is one of the best bird watching tours in the whole country. A total of 544 species of birds has been recorded so far including 22 globally threatened species including critically endangered Bengal Florican, Slender-billed Vulture, White-rumped Vulture and Red-headed Vulture are found here.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of your choice. Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of the country. Overnight at hotel
Day 2

Kathmandu to Chitwan

After having breakfast we will take flight of 20 minutes or also can drive for about 6-7 hrs. At leisure time we will roam around Chitwan city. Overnight in Hotel
Day 3

Elephant Breeding Center.

After having breakfast we will go to Elephant breeding center to have a beautiful view of birds from wetlands to the grasslands to Sal forest. Overnight in Hotel
Day 4

View Tower

Today, we spend the full day for birding from view tower. Different species of birds can be seen from here. Overnight at the hotel
Day 5

Kashara

After having breakfast we will again go to Kashara. Chitwan national Park is one of the few known breeding sites of the globally threatened spotted eagle. Peafowl and jungle fowl scratch their living on the forest floor. Overnight in Hotel

Community Forest.

Today we will go to Community forest for the search of new and beautiful birds. Overnight in Hotel

Bis Hajar Taal

Then today we will roam around Bis Hajar Lake to search birds. Bis Hajar Taal means Twenty Thousand lakes which signify the confluence of twenty thousand lakes at one place. Overnight in Hotel

Departure
