You will arrive in Hanoi airport, where you will be met by your driver in the arrivals hall. He will drive you to your hotel in Hanoi where you will have the rest of the ay to explore the bustling streets. If you arrive in the morning or the middle of the day you can visit the Vietnam Travel office in the old town where we hold a small information meeting. You can get some practical information, a map and a borrow a phone so you can always get in touch with us .
The first day in Halong Bay (B, L, D)
At 8:00am, we will take the shuttle bus to the stunning Halong Bay. You will embark on a cruise at midday. You will visit: Oan islet, Teapot islet, Monster Face islet, Torch islet, Dragon islet, Porcupines islet.
In the afternoon you will take a trip to Amazing cave and Luon cave. You will stay overnight on board.
The second day in Halong Bay and night train to Sapa (B, L, D)
You will visit the tranquil Titop Island in the morning. You will disembark the cruise at midday. The tour ends in Hanoi about 17:00. You will be free until 20:30 when you will be picked up at the hotel and taken to the train station. From there you will take the night train to Sapa.
Lao Cai – Sapa – Trekking to H’mong ethnic village (B, L, D)
You will arrive in Lao Cai train station at 6:00am. You will then go to Sapa town where you will begin your through mountains and rice paddies to H’mong ethnic village of Lao Chai and Ta Van villages. The approximate distance of trekking in a day is from 12 to 13km.
You will experience local culture when you stay overnight at a homestay in Ta Van village.
Trekking in Sapa – Night train to Hanoi (B, L, D)
Continue your discovery of local villages as you trek to the H’mong ethnic viallges of Cat Cat village and Sin Chai.
After dinner you will go to Lao Cai train station to take the night train to Hanoi at 21:30.
