Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It's home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views.

Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts.

Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Amritsar to Dalhousie

Dalhousie Hills

On arrival at Amritsar Railway Station/Airport, An Azure Tour Advisor representative will be meet you at the Railway Station at and drive to Dalhousie by road, on arrival check inn at hotel, Evening visit mall Road, overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

Dalhousie Local Sightseeing

Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor, General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation, pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. After breakfast, get ready for Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visit to Panjipula, Subhash Baoli and excursion to Khajjiar 24 Kms. from Dalhousie surrounded by thick Deodar forest. Drive from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome. Overnight Stay at hotel.

Day 3

Dalhousie - Dharamshala

St. Johns Church in Dharamshala

After breakfast proceed to Dharamshala, on arrival check inn at hotel later Proceed half-day sightseeing in Dharamshala including Dal Lake-placed amidst lush greenery the lake also has a Shiva temple on its banks, St. John's Church- an Anglican church built in 1852, it is dedicated to John The Baptist, Tibetan Monastery- for witnessing the worshipping rituals of the region and Bhagsu Nag Temple- an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Snake God, Nag and Lord Shiva. The rest of the day is at your own discretion. Partake in activities like shopping, trying out local delicacies and so on. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4

Dharamshala - Palampur – Dharamshala

Palampur Tea Gardens

After early breakfast in the morning , full day visit to Palampur, evening back to Dharamshala, Overnight in the hotel.

Dharamshala - Amritsar

Golden Temple

After breakfast proceed to Amritsar, on arrival check inn at hotel, later visit Jallianwala Bagh, Wagah Border and Golden temple, overnight at Hotel.

Amritsar - Drop

After breakfast proceed to Amritsar airport for your onward journey. Your tour ends here with Azure Tour Advisor.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

*10% of full tour cost - 60 days prior to arrival.
*25% of full tour cost - 30 days prior to arrival.
*50% of full tour cost - between 15 & 29 days prior to tour.
*75% of full tour cost - between 14 & 7 days prior to tour.
*100% - within 7 days prior to tour.
