Package Overview

Historical Dalmatia is set along the Adriatic Coast to the Bay of Kotor in the south. With it rising majestically between the half-baked limestone ridges of the Dalmatian Coast and the perfect blue of the Adriatic Sea. It was the perfect setting then, it is the perfect setting now.

It’s beautiful, quiet, culturally rich.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Zagreb

Arrive at Zagreb and check in to the hotel with the help of our representative present there. Check out the city in the afternoon, especially the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre, St Mark’s church with its multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and the University. It's all a very colorful, beautiful affair!

  • Day 2 : Zagreb to Vis

After a lovely breakfast at the Hotel, check out. Join us in a long journey to Split (04 Hours) and then taking a connecting Ferry headed to Vis (2.5 Hours). Vis is like a pearl in the shell, after checking into the hotel, explore the island's original settlement. The town is a merger of two settlements: 19th-century Luka (meaning 'port'), where the ferry docks, and medieval Kut on the opposite curve of the horseshoe. Enjoy the scenic harbor-side promenade. For the history buffs, there is the Greek cemetery, Roman baths and an English fortress. Take a break and enjoy the Gastronomic paradise that is Vis. From freshly caught seafood cooked on the grill to slowly cooked dishes under the peka and local dishes such as paštićada, it will be worth your while.

  • Day 3 : Vis

There is something about Vis, a mysterious air – even to locals. It's the farthest of the Central Dalmatian islands from the coast, and has authenticity, nature, gourmet delights and much needed peace and quiet. You can now choose to visit the many diverse beaches on the Islands around Vis by renting a boat. OR Rent a car or a scooter to explore the towns and beaches. The centre of the island is a patchwork of vineyards and olive groves. This way you can combine both as you wind your way between the small inland villages, detour to a beach and then continue on exploring. Best of all worlds.

Explore the beaches along the southern side of the island or head to Komiza and the Blue Cave at Bisevo Island. Circumvent the island by heading home along the northern coast! Or Dive. With beautiful clear waters, secluded coves and the odd wreck or two, Vis is a great place to go diving.

Spend the evening sightseeing Split. It's like time traveling with the great ancient architecture like Peristyle, the middle aged Romanesque Church and Gothic Palace, Renaissance portals of the noblemen’s houses, Baroque facades and modern architecture superbly merged in the rich heritage.
