also popular by the name Tsomgo Lake. Perched at an altitude of 12,400 ft. above
the sea-level, it is situated 35km away from Gangtok. The lake derives its water
from the melting snow of the surrounding mountains. As per the legends, the
lamas can forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s water. Post
the lake visit, head to the New Baba Mandir, built in the memory of an Indian
soldier. Post the temple visit, return to the hotel for an overnight
stay.

Lachung. You can visit the waterfalls en route. The uphill seven-hour journey

from the hotel at around 9am, and it would take around 1.5-hours to travel from
Lachung to Yumthang. Yumthang Valley is famous for the beautiful flowers beds,
especially the rhododendron flowers. The valley also provides the glorious view
of the mountains and the river. You would also be visiting the Hot Spring. Later
leave for Gangtok. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and enjoy a leisurely
