Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Arrival in NJP railway station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Our representative will meet you and transfer you to Darjeeling(3-4 hrs drive). Evening Free, enjoy a walk in Mall Road and evening in Chowrasta and Nightingale Park (Shrubbery Park).

  • Meals & Drinks : No Meals

• Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  3 Points: 4am- 8am. Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around at 4 am) to morning view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather) on your way back visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery.
  7 Points: 9:30am-2:30pm. After Breakfast city tour of Darjeeling visit Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea Garden, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self – Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway.
  Evening free for other activities. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 3 : Toy Train Ride/ Transfer to Pelling

  After breakfast take a joy ride with Himalayan Toy train which is listed in a UNESO. The drive is 8 kms each way starting from Darjeeling station to Ghum(India’s Highest Railway station) and returning to Darjeeling station. The total duration is appro 2 hrs for roundtrip.
  After lunch transfer to Pelling. The travel time from Darjeeling to Pelling is appro 4-5hrs.
  Note: Guest can also travel to Pelling after breakfast if they do not want to do take a ride in Toy Train.

• Day 4 : Pelling Full Day Sightseeing

  After breakfast start for full day sightseeing Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, NewHalipad Ground.
  Overnight stay at Pelling.

• Day 5 : Transfer to Gangtok/ Halfday Sightseeing in Gangtok

  After breakfast transfer to Gangtok . Drive is around 5-6 hrs and reach Gangtok by 1pm.
  
  Take a half day city tour after lunch (1pm to 5 pm) covering Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday), Flower Show. Overnight in Gangtok.

• Day 6 : Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Mandir

  After breakfast start for an excursion to Changu Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city. This serene lake is situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft on the Gangtok Nathu La highway. The lake is oval in shape, 15 meters deep and is considered sacred by the local people. It is also a home of brahminy ducks. It's cool, placid water harmonizes with the scenic beauty around. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months up to mid-May.
  
  Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers further and is an optional tour. Prior permission is required to visit Nathula Pass. Extra cost applies for extended tour to Nathula.
  Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall)/local Shopping at Gangtok.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast

• Day 7 : Return

  Return drive from Gangtok to NJP or Bagdogra airport. Trip ends Gangtok - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (120 kms / 4-5 hrs drive).

»Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political    disturbances, etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
» Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation &    land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.»Gangtok city tour will be done by Non-AC Maruti Van / Wagon R or simlar as per local transport rules
»Changu Lake and Nathula operation is subject to road condition and availability of permits as only limited permits are issued 48 hour prior to the schedule tour. If in case of cancellation of permit due to weather or any reason imposed by Govt for your trip date and it is made to our notice prior to departure then we will provide an alternate sightseeing. 
»If in case of cancellation of trip to Changu Lake or Nathulla trip after permit is issued and and it is cancelled due to weather or any reason imposed by Govt and you could not complete the trip then no refund will be provided.

Cancellation Charges: 
»30 Days or more : 10% of total trip cost
»Within 29-20 days prior to arrival 30% of total trip cost
»Within 19-15 days prior to arrival 50% of total trip cost
»Within 10 days prior to arrival Non refundable.
