Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive from Delhi to Nainital (Distance 300kms & 6-7hrs journey)

  Pick up from the airport/railway station/ a designated point and travel by road to Nainital for your Delhi Nainital tour package. On arrival check-in to hotel in Nainital/Bhimtal Evening at leisure or take a walk by the Mall Road in Nainital. Overnight stay in Nainital/Bhimtal.

• Day 2 : Nainital sightseeing

  After breakfast proceed for a tour of Nainital sightseeing places. Places to visit in & around Nainital: Tiffin Top, Bhim Tal, Sat Tal, Naukuchia Tal, Khurpa Tal. Evening free for a boat ride at the glittering Naini Lake. Overnight stay in Nainital/Bhimtal.

• Day 3 : Drive from Nainital to Kausani (Distance 115kms & 3-4hrs. journey)

  After breakfast drive to Kausani, an attractive town in the Himalayas fringed by the rivers Kosi & Gomti. On a bright day, from the uneven terrains in Kausani (at 6,201ft) you get an uninterrupted view of the 365-km stretch of the snow-capped Himalayas. On arrival check-in to your hotel Afternoon visit the Gandhi Ashram from where Himalayan peaks are clearly visible; also visit some other viewing points in town. Overnight stay in Kausani.

• Day 4 : Kausani sightseeing

  Go on an interesting excursion to the Baijnath temple complex, along the Gompti River; you�ll come across shrines built between the 09th & 12th centuries that are an architectural delight to watch.

• Day 5 : Drive from Kausani to Almora (Distance 55kms & 2hrs journey)

  This morning drive to Almora, a 500yr old town in the cross-roads of hills from where one could plan many excursions to scenic retreats and pilgrimage centres. Places to visit in Almora: Plan a visit to the Gobind Ballabh Pant Public Museum to discover the art and culture of Kumaon region and Chitai temple, an important shrine dedicated to the popular Kumaon deity - Golu Devta. Overnight stay at Almora/Binsar.

• Day 6 : Excursion to Binsar

  After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Binsar - a wildlife sanctuary in the Kumaon hills ideally suited for bird-watching of over 150 different bird species. Places to visit in Binsar: Go up to Zero Point (a viewing tower) from where you can have unmatched views of the Himalayan peaks - Kedarnath, Badrinath, Shivaling, Trishul & the Nanda Devi. Also visit the Binsar Sanctuary Museum that has valuable information about the flora & fauna around this region. Overnight stay in Almora/Binsar.

• Day 7 : Drive from Almora to Raniketh (Distance 50kms & 2hrs. journey)

  Enroute visit the Jageshwar temple complex & the Archaeological Museum. On arrival at Raniketh, you�ll be greeted with the snow clad Himalayas, thick-forested slopes & valleys. Relax for the day and gaze leisurely at the majestic Himalayan peaks. Overnight stay in Raniketh.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 8 : Drive from Raniketh to New Delhi (Distance 350kms. & 9-10hrs. journey)

  After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Delhi. Your Trip to Uttarakhand from Delhi concludes with a drop to the airport/railway station for your onward journey home.
