The Deo Tibba base – Chota Chandertaal trek starts from Jagatsukh in Manali. This scenic, summer high altitude trek winds its way through lush green meadows and alpine forests. With memorable views of snow-capped peaks this is one of the most beautiful treks in Himachal Pradesh. Mountain streams, glaciers, log bridges… all go into making this a trek worth experiencing. This trek would be any photographer’s delight to capture the mesmerizing view of the majestic Mt. Deo Tibba (6001 m)

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

‘da Base’ – Jagatsukh – 12 Hazaar – Chikka (3000 M) |2 Hrs Drive + 4 Hrs Walk

Jagatsukh Temple

Participants assemble in Jagatsukh by 7 a.m. At 9 a.m. we’ll drive to 12 Hazaar, from where the trek starts. The trail ascends gradually through thick pine forests along the narrow Allain Nullah valley. Look out for some of the wildlife along the way.

Day 2

Chikka – Seri (3200 M) | 5 Hours

Today’s trail is all uphill and mostly through birch forests. The campsite at Chikka is almost at tree-line giving you some fabulous views. It is a known fact that the Seri area has the maximum wildlife in the region.

Day 3

Seri – Tainta (3900) – Deo Tibba Base And Chota Chandertaal (4200m) – Tainta | 8 Hours

The initial part of the trek is all flat and easy till you come to a stream. After crossing the stream the trails is uphill through boulders till you come to the camp which is on the moraine.

Today is the longest day of trekking and we will do the stretch from Tainta to Deo Tibba Base pure Alpine style leaving our entire load behind at the camp in Tainta. We walk through stretch of the moraine to reach ‘Chota Chandertaal’, also the base camp for climbing Mt. Deo Tibba, Mt. Indrasan and Mt. Norbu. After spending a couple of hours at leisure at this mesmerizing place, we will trace our steps back to the campsite at Tainta.

Day 4

Tainta – Chikka – | 4 Hours

Return by the same route that you took on the way up, passing the campsite at Seri.

Day 5

Chikka – Jagatsukh – Departure

Today is the last day of trekking. After breakfast, start the downhill walk to Jagatsukh.
The trek ends here. Manali is just 6 km from here and transport is easily available to reach Manali bus stand.

Any expenses that arise due to change in itinerary and increase in no. of days because of natural forces like landslides, weather, roadblocks, flight cancellations, sickness etc.
Nominal cost for bonfire, barbeque and all meals at base in Haripur (choice of veg/ non-veg).
Cost of any optional activity we offer, like paragliding, angling, rafting etc.

100% refund on cancellation before 30 days
50% refund on cancellations between 15 to 29 days
No refund on cancellation less than 14 days

Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
