Do Dham Yatra Yamunotri - Gangotri

Haridwar is the Gateway of ChardhamYatra. Upon arrival check inn into the hotel. Evening attend The Ganga Arti at famous Har Ki Pauri (by your own). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast leave for Barkot via Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty fall. Upon arrival check in into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot. Acclimatize yourself to start a trek to Yamnotri from JanakiChatti.

YAMUNOTRI: Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 km ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni. The most important of these is Surya Kund. DivyaShila: A rock pillar, worshiped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

After breakfast/packed breakfast, depart at 5/6am for Hanumanchatti (40 Km), Janki Chatti (5 km). Here you will begin the First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri (5 Km trek). You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs.

After breakfast check out from the Barkot hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

UTTARKASHI: Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town, situated between two rivers; Varuna and Ashi, whose water flow into the Bhagirathi from either side of the town. Elevated, at a height of 1588 meters, this little town is very similar to Kashi and Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and ghats and likewise, a north or ‘uttar’ facing river

Early After breakfast/packed breakfast and drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century's temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

After breakfast leave for Haridwar and drop to hotel.

You can Visit “MAA CHANDI” “CHANDI DEVI MANDIR” which is just 7kms from the main haridwar city, after darshan back for lunch at the most popular restaurant of Haridwar “HOSIYARPURI” after lunch when you walk just 10minutes there you got the “Ropeway” for “MAA MANSA DEVI MANDIR” ( By your Own)
