Druk Path Trek 6 Days 5 Nights Tour

After a short drive to the Ta Dzong (National Museum) in Paro, begin your trek from the historic Ta Dzong. Then we trek uphill through forests of blue pine trees, enjoying panoramic views of Paro Valley and then reach the campsite near Jele Dzong, an ancient fortress with a small temple.

Start the day with a climb to Jele La Pass (3,400m), offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. Next we descend through rhododendron forests and reach the campsite at Jangchulakha, a beautiful meadow.

Trek through more rhododendron forests and yak pastures. Next we cross the Jimilangtsho Lake, known for its giant trout and stunning surroundings, and then Camp near the lake, with a chance to spot birds and maybe even Himalayan yaks.

Ascend to the highest point of the trek, the Simkota La Pass (4,110m), offering spectacular mountain vistas and then descend to Simkota Lake, where you can enjoy serene views and camp amidst the tranquility.

Trek through dwarf rhododendron trees before reaching Phume La Pass (4,210m). Next we descend to the monastic complex of Phajoding, which houses a beautiful monastery. Explore the monastery and camp nearby.

Descend through pine forests to Motithang, where your trek ends. Next we will visit the iconic Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan's government and monastic order. In the evening we transfer to your hotel in Thimphu, the capital city, and explore its vibrant markets and landmarks.
