Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi

  On landing in JKIA Airport, you will be met by Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours Representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari. Later you will be transferred to Eka Hotel Nairobi for check in and overnight. This will ensure you relax as you prepare to start you safari tomorrow officially.

• Day 2 : Nairobi - Amboseli

  After breakfast, You will drive to Amboseli National Park. This is the best park to get close to free-ranging elephants, have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and get the best snap shot of sun set and sun rise.

• Day 3 : Amboseli

  Option one; You may opt to have an early morning Game drive, Return for breakfast, Freshen up and later a Mid morning Game Drive, Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool, More game drives in the evening in search of more animals, Dinner and overnight at the camp.
  
  Option Two: Another alternative is to have early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive. Return to the camp around 2 Pm for Lunch. Spent the rest of afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

• Day 4 : Amboseli - Lake Naivasha

  After breakfast you will drive to Lake Naivasha via Nairobi. You will arrive and have lunch at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp. The package consist of either Hippo boat ride or Hell gate hicking.

• Day 5 : Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara

  After breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. This is the park where you will have opportunity to see big 5 and wildebeest Migration. Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch you will have Evening game drives and later return for dinner in Lodge

• Day 6 : Masai Mara

  Morning breakfast and exit the camp with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5. You will later return in the evening for dinner and overnight in Mara Serena Lodge.

• Day 7 : Masai Mara

  Have an early morning Game drive, Return for breakfast, Freshen up and later a Midmorning Game Drive, Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool, More game drives in the evening in search of more animals, Dinner and overnight at the camp You can ALSO choose a morning Balloon ride (Optional) in the early morning where you will be picked up from your lodge and transferred you to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. The actual ride starts at 6am. The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon: Sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife that is below.

• Day 8 : Masai Mara - Serengeti

  After breakfast you will then depart with packed lunch to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After Visa formalities at the Isebania border, you shall proceed to Serengeti. You will arrive in late afternoon at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp with game drives enroute. Freshener-up and have dinner at the Camp.

• Day 9 : Serengeti

  After breakfast at the camp, you shall depart with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the park for a chance to see the BIG 5, Migrations and even many more animals. You will later return for dinner and overnight in the evening.

• Day 10 : Serengeti - Ngorongoro

  Morning breakfast and then drive to Ngorongoro Conservancy. You will arrive in time for lunch with game drive enroute at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. You will then leave the camp for a half day Crater Tour After lunch. Later you will drive back for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

• Day 11 : Ngorongoro - Zanzibar Beach

  After breakfast, you will be transferred to JRO Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar and be transferred to the Next Paradise Boutique Resort for your romantic beach stay booked on Half board.

• Day 12 : Zanzibar

  Full day in Zanzibar with following activities:
  Stone Town tour visit
  Dolphin Watching
  Prison Island Tour
  Spice Tour
  Safari blue tour

• Day 13 : Zanzibar

  Full day in Zanzibar with following activities:
  Stone Town tour visit
  Dolphin Watching
  Prison Island Tour
  Spice Tour
  Safari blue tour

• Day 14 : Zanzibar - Nairobi

  After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi where you will connect with your flight back home.

  Thanks to Anne and all the team at Amazing Memories Safaris for making our (my son and I) first trip and safari to Kenya a great experience. All the pre-trip itinerary options and selections were done very well; in fact I had initially booked to travel in March, but managed to break my leg in February, so had to change our travel dates to July. Anne reorganised the trip with no problem, finding us accommodation in what was of course an already mostly fully booked peak safari season. Our trip did not get off to the best start as we missed our connection from Europe to Nairobi due to a late incoming flight. Anne reorganised the team to pick us up at the airport very (very) early the morning after our scheduled arrival no problem. The safari part (6 nights: 1 in Treetops, 1 in Lake Nakuru, 4 in Masai Mara) all ran like clockwork, our driver John was excellent as both our guide and driver. All we had to worry about was getting to the hotel receptions each morning and afternoon, where John was always waiting, ready to go. In terms of game sightings, we saw all the Big Five and many other species, including cheetah. In the Masai Mara, we saw 28 lions, including 18 on one day, in 3 different sightings, all very close up. Of course, sometimes it is the luck of the day, but we were very happy with what we saw. While we joined the sightings where many vehicles had already gathered which is normal (for lions, leopard and cheetah - the drivers / guides keep in touch by radio to see where the action is), John also had the patience to look in many areas on our own, away from the main tracks, and this produced a leopard only a few feet from us, which we were able to enjoy by ourselves.
