Giant panda are solidary animals. It is extremely hard to spot them in the wild. We create this China Panda Photography program for professional photographers who have the highest demand on the quality of their pictures to shoot or film giant panda in the nature environment. In collaboration with Dujiangyan panda base which is a partner to us for many years, we are able to move giant panda in nature environment instead of their enclosure for shooting with the assistance of the staff in panda base. Photographers could shoot panda in a very close distance without any barriers. With so many years’ good partnership with the panda base, AbsolutePanda is the only travel company in China that is able to run this program.

Chengdu/ Dujiangyan Panda Base
We depart to Dujiangyan Panda Base from Chengdu. It will be a one hour drive to Dujiangyan and we will have an introduction of this program on the vehicle. Upon arrival, we will meet the staff in Chengdu Panda Base and have a small lecture about giant panda and more details about the rules of the program. Photographers will choose the shooting sites with the staff in the base together and make a shooting plan according to the weather and the condition of giant panda.
Dujiangyan Panda Base
The next three days will be exclusive for photo shooting. We will arrange the shooting in the outside these days according the weather and other conditions. After the outside shooting program, photographers are free to take photos in the panda base for other giant panda or red panda in the enclosures.

Dujiangyan Panda Base/ Chengdu
We will finish shooting and head back to Chengdu today. However, it is possible to extend one day of photographing due to the bad weather in the first four days. We will try our best to optimize your photographing experience as much as possible. We will drive back to Chengdu in the late afternoon and finish this program.
