This 5-day Northern Tanzania Safari takes you through some of the region's most renowned wildlife destinations, including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll begin your journey in Arusha, where the drive to Tarangire introduces you to Tanzania's landscapes and local communities. In Tarangire, you’ll undertake game drives to observe large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species, with the Tarangire River serving as a focal point for wildlife activity. You will then proceed to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the route offers views of highlands and Maasai landscapes. In the Serengeti, you’ll spend full days on game drives across the expansive plains, seeking sightings of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Picnic lunches within the park provide opportunities to remain immersed in the environment throughout the day. The journey concludes with a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique conservation area known for its dense wildlife population, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. You’ll descend into the crater for a game drive and picnic lunch before returning to Arusha.
