This 5-day Northern Tanzania Safari takes you through some of the region's most renowned wildlife destinations, including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. You begin your journey in Arusha with a drive to Tarangire introducing you to Tanzania landscapes and local communities. In Tarangire you undertake game drives to observe large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species with the Tarangire River serving as a focal point for wildlife activity. You proceed to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with views of highlands and Maasai landscapes. In the Serengeti you spend full days on game drives across the expansive plains seeking sightings of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife and enjoy picnic lunches within the park. The journey concludes with a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater where you descend for a game drive and picnic lunch before returning to Arusha. Professional guides accompany you in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your professional driver guide will greet you and assist with luggage. Enjoy a scenic drive to Arusha with views of Tanzania landscapes and Mount Meru. Settle in at your hotel, relax and prepare for the safari. Breakfast is provided at your hotel in Arusha and you stay overnight at Green Mountain Hotel.
After an early breakfast depart Arusha and journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Spend a full day on game drives in Tarangire with the Tarangire River attracting large concentrations of animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and in the evening transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Mvuli Mountain Lodge Ngorongoro.
Depart after breakfast and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti National Park, taking in dramatic highland scenery and Maasai landscapes. Upon entering the Serengeti enjoy a game drive across the endless plains searching for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and zebras. Lunch is provided during the journey or in the park. Arrive at Angata Serengeti Camp in the evening for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Spend the day on extensive game drives in Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations. Explore vast savannahs in search of the Big Five and witness the park's remarkable biodiversity. Breakfast is provided at camp before game drives, enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, and return to camp for dinner and a restful night at Angata Serengeti Camp.
After an early breakfast descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable wildlife safari. The crater supports dense wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, flamingos and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and in the afternoon return to Arusha concluding the Tanzanian safari experience.
