It is fit to make the mention of a visionary and dreamy-eyed Jesuit Rev. Fr. MacDonald, who pioneered Trekking as an organized Holiday and Sport in the Sikkim-Darjeeling area where hundreds of Trekkers now cluster for its joys.

The Eastern Himalayas, including Sikkim-Darjeeling, the area where the trekking is well regulated are extremely beautiful and possesses the varied forms of rich flora and fauna. Trekking-Trails varies from soft and moderate to extreme. The more rewarding treks are in altitudes from 6,000 ft. to 14,000 ft.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

On Arrival At Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station

our representative will meet and come along with you to Gangtok (126 kms/5hrs). Transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 2

After Breakfast Visit

Do Gangtok sight-seeing and back in hotel by evening. Night in same hotel.
Day 3

After An Early Breakfast

Move from Gangtok for Hilley, West Sikkim. Drive of 5 hours and then you are walking through a lush forest of pines, firs and rhododendron to Varsey (2840m) from Hilley. Overnight stay in Tourist hut/ campsite in tent.
Day 4

Day Halt At Varsey

The day is meant for exploring the locale and getting lost with the joyful nature. You will find the varieties of rhododendrons here. Overnight stay as same as Day-03.
Day 5

After Breakfast Walk Downhill

The village of Dentam (7kms) and visit to a only cheese factory of Sikkim, at Dentam.Stroll around and drive to Pelling (45 minutes drive). In the evening visit the Pemayansgste Monastery. Overnight hotel.
Day 6

After Breakfast Drive Khecheopalri Lake

Khecheopalri lake which is also known as the wishing lake and is considered very sacred by the Sikkimese. A short walk to Sangachholing Monastery (2km./45mins) located on a hill top. Stay in hotel at Pelling.
Day 7

After Breakfast Drive

To Bagdogra airport or NJP Railway Station for onward journey.
