Gangotri is located in the heights of Himalayas. According to the Hindu mythology, it is the same place where Lord Shiva released the scared Ganges, the holiest river, on earth. Therefore, Gangotri is considered one of the most sacred destinations for Hindus. It houses a number of temples which are visited by millions of pilgrims every year.
The prime temple, Gangotri temple, was built by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa, which lies amidst the beautiful surrounding of pines and Deodar. Visit other spiritual places such as Haridwar, Uttarkashi and Harsil in this package and enjoy a divine tour.
On arrival at Delhi airport/railway, board a train to Haridwar. Once reached at the destination, meet up with our representative and drive to hotel for check in. Later enjoy the mesmerizing sight of the evening aarti at Har ki Pauri. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive for to Chami via Mussoorie. Visit the Kempty falls on the way. Check in a hotel on arrival and rest for the night.
Have your morning tea or coffee and head out for Gangotri in your car. En route visit Gangani and Harsil. Once reached, offer prayer in the Gangotri temple and then drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in hotel in Uttarkashi.
From Uttarkashi drive to Haridwar. Check in a hotel and go for sight-seeing the town. Rest the night at the hotel.
After having an early breakfast, drive to Haridwar to reach the railway station and board a train to Delhi from where you will proceed for your onward journey.
