Gangtok & Lachung Tour

Meet & greet with our representative at NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok. On arrival chk in to the hotel. In the evening you can visit local market or nearby area (at your own). Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (Alt 12000ft/3600M), a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. Enjoy playing in snow and try Yak Ride and proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Back to Hotel. Night stay at Gangtok hotel.

Optional Tour to Nathula Pass (14000 ft/4200 M) on China Border can be arranged (except Monday, Tuesday) for Indians only with 30 days advance request at an additional cost. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tshango Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing)

After breakfast transfer from Gangtok to Lachung (117Kms/6.5Hrs). Check in at Hotel. Evening free to explore the beautiful Himalayan village by your own. Overnight at Lachung.

Early morning breakfast - After breakfast leave for Yumthang nearly 26 kilometers and is an hour drive - Yumthang valley is situated at an altitude of nearly 11800 feet with the river Lachung Chu flowing through the valley -Yumthang valley, hot spring, On the way from Yumthang one may visit the famous hot spring known for its curative properties - Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends and the cold desert starts - In the winter months there is snow all around and the snow clad mountains adds to the beauty - Check into hotel Night halt at Lachung.

After breakfast leave for Gangtok - On the way guest can stop between Singhik and Mangan - Return journey is from Lachung - Gangtok is 125 kilometers, 5 - 6 hours - Lunch on the way - If the weather is good and sky is clear one can get to see the Himalayan range with the prominent Khangchendzonga peak - The location on the way offers majestic view of mount Pandim, Back to Gangtok - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok.
