Port Elizabeth to Knysna
On route we enter the Tsitsikamma National Park, where we can enjoy a short walk through indigenous coastal forest, or simply relax on a sheltered beach and enjoy the wonderful views.
In the afternoon, enjoy free time exploring and visiting the unique shops in Knysna. In the evening we embark on a sunset boat ride on the beautiful lagoon. Your hotel is located alongside the Knysna Waterfront complex.
Knysna to Oudtshoorn
Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. Ninety percent of the world’s ostrich population resides in and around Oudtshoorn.
We visit the Cango Caves and a working ostrich farm. At the ostrich farm we will learn about the industry, and interact with ostriches. We overnight in a guestfarm just outside Oudtshoorn in the foothills of the Swartberg mountain range.
Oudtshoorn to Cape Town
We depart for Cape Town and take the scenic R62 route, through the very beautiful Karoo.
