Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi - Arrive Leh

Meet and assist o arrival at Leh Airport and transferred to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the hotel. We recommend you relax and undergo minimal exertion to enable yourself acclimatize to rarefied air of this remote region ensconced in the high Himalayan plateau. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh.
Day 2

Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the ancient town of Leh on foot. After a couple of hours, return to your hotel for lunch. After lunch you are driven west to visit the Shanti Stupa, inaugurated in 1983 by H.H.Dalai Lama, the peace Pagoda, whose sides are decorated with gilt panels depicting episodes from the life of Buddha, is one of the several monuments erected around India by peace sect of Japanese Buddhists. Driven to Sankar Monastery nestled amid the shimmering coppices & terraced fields of Barley. Sankar Monestry: The Gompa (Monestry in local language), contains a formidable collection of miniature statues of pure gold and ancient paintings (called Thangkas) also done with gold. Day 3

Leh - Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Pangong lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third highest motor able road in the world). Dinner & overnight stay in Camp at Pangong.
Day 4

Pangong Lake - Leh

After breakfast check out from Camp and drive to Leh, en route visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh.
Day 5

Leh Khardong La - Leh

After breakfast drive to Khardong La Pass, world’s highest motor able road at 18,380 Feet. Afternoon return Leh, lunch will be provided at the hotel. After lunch one is free to explore the local markets. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh.
Day 6

Depart Leh - Delhi

After breakfast check out from Hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey with Sweet Memories Tour by Greenland Holidays.
