Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Amritsar

Upon your arrival at the Amritsar airport or railway station, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can spend the day at leisure, exploring the local markets and tasting the famous Amritsari cuisine.

Day 2

Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh

Golden Temple

After breakfast, we will visit the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of Sikhism, also known as Harmandir Sahib. You can take a dip in the holy Sarovar and witness the holy book of Sikhs, the Guru Granth Sahib being read in the temple. Afterward, we will visit Jallianwala Bagh, where the infamous Amritsar Massacre took place in 1919.

Day 3

Wagah Border and city tour

Gobindgarh Fort

After breakfast, we will drive to the Wagah Border, which is the only road border crossing between India and Pakistan. You can witness the Beating Retreat Ceremony, a military ceremony performed by the soldiers of India and Pakistan before closing the border gates. In the evening, we will take a city tour of Amritsar, visiting places like the Durgiana Temple, Gobindgarh Fort, and the Partition Museum.

Day 4

Free Day in Amritsar

Today is a free day to explore Amritsar on your own. You can visit local markets, taste the famous Punjabi cuisine, or simply relax in your hotel.

Day 5

Visit Mata Lal Devi Temple and Gurdwara Baba Atal Sahib

After breakfast, we will visit the Mata Lal Devi Temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga, and the Gurdwara Baba Atal Sahib, a nine-story octagonal tower that offers a panoramic view of Amritsar.

Day 6

Departure

Golden Temple
