Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati - Gateway To The Northeast India

Arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Rly Station. Check in at Hotel at Guwahati. Overnight stay at Guwahati. Half day Guwahati City Tour (including a river cruise).
Day 2 Guwahati - Kaziranga 250 Km / 5 Hours Drive

After breakfast, early morning depart for Kaziranga National Park. Bookings at Kaziranga resort. Arrive by 13:00 hours have lunch and proceed towards jeep safari at 14:00 hours. Evening folk dance arranged especially for you. Overnight halt at Kaziranga resort.

Day 3 Kaziranga - Shillong 300 Km/ 7 Hours Drive

Early morning proceed for elephant safari. Today you will be taken for an elephant ride into the jungle to watch animals especially the one horn rhinos. After breakfast, you will be leaving for Shillong.

Day 4 Sightseeing At Shillong And Cherrapunjee

Shillong Peak

Local sightseeing at Shillong, Visit Ward Lake and Hydari Park. Visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Admire the beauty of Shillong, also called Scotland of the East. It is home to the Khasi highland tribes. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 5 Shillong - Cherrapunjee 60 Km/ 1.5 Hours Drive

After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, once famous for being the wettest place in the world. The beautiful waterfall Noh-ka-likai is at Cherrapunjee you can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee. Return to Shillong for overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 6 Shillong - Guwahati (100 Kms/ 3 Hours Drive)

In the morning after breakfast visit the local market for shopping. After lunch drive back to Guwahati. Night Stay at Guwahati.

Day 7 Guwahati - Onward Journey

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey as per your flight schedule. In the meantime local sightseeing of Guwahati can be done.
