At Baroda, visit Fateh Singh Museum, Sayaji Bagh and the Baroda Museum and Art Gallery.
The Lakshmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, was constructed by the Gaekwad family, a prominent Maratha family, who ruled the Baroda State. Major Charles Mant was credited to be the main architect of the palace.
Lakshmi Vilas Palace was styled on the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture, built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890 at a cost of £180,000 (₹27,00,000).
It is reputed to have been the largest private dwelling built until that time, and four times the size of Buckingham Palace. At the time of construction, it boasted the most modern amenities such as elevators and the interior is reminiscent of a large European country house. It remains the residence of the royal family, who continue to be held in high esteem by the residents of Baroda.
The Palace compound is of over 500 acres and houses a number of buildings, particularly the LVP Banquets & Conventions, Moti Bagh Palace and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum building.
In the 1930s Maharaja Pratapsinh created a golf course for use by his European guests. In the 1990s, Pratapsinh's grandson Samarjitsinh, a former Ranji trophy cricket player, renovated the course and opened it to the public.
Fateh Singh Museum: This royal art collection includes copies of European works by Raphael, Titan and Murillo and examples of Greco-Roman, Chinese and Japanese art as well as Indian exhibits.
Sayaji Bagh is a popular spot for an evening stroll. Within the park are several attractions.
Baroda Museum and Art Gallery: The Museum has some good Indian statues and carving.

After breakfast check out from hotel and Drive to Champaner 45 km away from Vadodara city.
Champaner Pavagadh Archeological Park: The place is a UNESCO designated, World Heritage Site (2004). It is an assemblage of over 100 small and large monuments largely unexcavated and bearing archaeological, historic and living cultural heritage properties.
Later drive to Jambhugodha / Chhota Udaipur (80 Kms/100 Kms).

Full day Excursion (with Packed Lunch) to Chhota Udaipur (Recommend to take Jeep for the interior visit - Optional).
Chhota Udaipur is in proximity to various hamlets of Bhils, Rathwas, Bhilalas and other tribes. The tribal folks can be spotted in sporting colorful attires and chunky jewelry. A tour of the tribal village and hamlets offer an insight of traditional architecture, lifestyle & handicrafts of each aboriginal community.
The tribal market called 'hatt' occurs at different villages. Pithora painting, pottery, terracotta figures, Langoti wearing and bamboo basket weaving are main attractions.
Overnight stay at Balasinor.
Early morning transfer by road to Bhavnagar. Bhavnagar is an important trading post for cotton goods manufactured in Gujarat.
Visit Takhteshwar Temple. The Temple itself is of minor interest but, as it sits on a small hillock, it is nevertheless high enough to provide good views over the city and out into the Gulf of Cambay.
Visit Gandhi Smriti Museum, with a moderate collection of Gandhi memorabilia and religious statues.
Evening, visit to some of the interesting bazaar area with overhanging wooden balconies.

Morning after breakfast drive to Palitana
Palitana: It is little more than a gateway to Mount Shatrunjaya, strewed with 863 temples. The temples were built over a period of 900 years on a hilltop dedicated entirely to God. Almost all the temples are Jain, and this hill demonstrates their belief that merit is derived from constructing temples. The most notable of the temple is dedicated to Shri Adishwara, the first Jain Tirthankar. There is a Muslim shrine of Angar Pir. Women who want children make offerings of miniature cradles at this shrine.
Afternoon lunch at a local restaurant (optional). Straight drive to Gondal.
Drive to Gondal, a picturesque town with plenty of gracious architecture, wide tree lined roads and European lampposts.
Evening, visit Royal Family Vintage car collection of Gondal. The royal garages, have an extensive collection of Vintage and classic cars including a 1910 new engine, a delage and a Daimler from the 1920s, a 1935 Mercedes, 1935 Packard 2 door convertible, 1941 & 1947 Cadillac, 1955 Cadillac limousine, jaguar ax 150, Chevrolet Etc. Most of these cars are restored and some bear the original Gondal State number plates.

After an early breakfast drive Wankaner. About50kms from Rajkot on the way to Kachchh, is Wankaner.
Wankaner has a stupendous palace straddling a plateau halfway up a hill, with an awesome blend of Venetian Gothic, Hindu, Islamic and other architectural styles that harmonize into one single façade with no features seeming out of place. The palace, named the Ranjitvilas for prince Ranji who laid the foundation stone, has exquisite interiors done up in Italian marble stained glass, moulded ceilings, crystal, silver, custom-woven rugs and carpets, and early-20th century furniture. The palace museum has a collection of swords, daggers, shields and insignia. Accomodations are in the residence wing of the palace or the art deco royal oasis in a nearby orchard. The marble stepwell in the orchard, situated at the turn of the river Machchu, is one of the few in private ownership in Gujarat.

A number of temples of religious importance are located along Balaram river.
After breakfast check from the hotel & drive to Poshina on arrival check into hotel further Full day time to visit the Tribal village of Poshina.
Its home to a number of artisans the tribal arrow crafters, silversmiths, potters, blacksmiths and the bazaar is famous for silver tribal jewelry, ORNATE sheathed daggers and terra cotta horses. Around poshina are hamlets of the bhil and garasia tribal communities, know for their colorful attires and artistic ornaments. The Jain temple, the intricately carved Med review shiva temple and the royal 'Chhatteries' (cenotaphs) of the rulers Of poshina are sure to leave you mesmerized.

Gandhi Ashram : On a quiet peaceful stretch of the Sabarmati river, Mahatma Gandhi set up a simple retreat in 1915. This was his Satyagrah Ashram and for many years it was the nerve centre of India’s freedom movement. It was from here, in 1930, that Mahatma began his famous Dandi March to the sea to protest against the Salt Tax imposed by the British. Hridaya Kunj, the simple cottage where he lived, is now a national monument and preserved as it was during the Mahatma’s life-time.
Sidi Sayed Mosque : One part of the wall in the old citadel of the mosque built by Ahmed Shah’s slave, Sidi Sayed, is celebrated the world over for its exquisite stone window tracery – a superb & peerless example of delicate carving that transforms stone into filigree.
Jumma Masjid : The Friday mosque was built by the city’s founder, Sultan Ahmed Shah, in 1423. Built of yellow sandstone in an architectural style that combines the best of Muslim & Hindu traditions. It stands on 260 pillars that support 15 domes at varying elevations.
Adalaj Step-well : It is situated 17kms north of Ahmedabad. The step well at the village of Adalaj is another fine example of this magnificent architectural form. Adalaj Vav is richly carved, every pillar and wall surface covered with leaves and flowers, birds and fishes and friezes of ornamental designs.
After breakfast drive to Ahmedabad airport / railway station for onward journey.
