Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : DELHI - MUSSOORIE

Today drive to the Queen of Hills-Mussoorie. Later transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can walk around the mall road, shopping and take on horse ride.

MALL ROAD- The Mall road is the central hub of the Mussoorie and is a must visit on your trip to the city. It has a bunch of places, couple of things and plenty of activities to do when on a vacation to the Mall Road.

Day 2 : MUSSOORIE SIGHTSEEING

In the blush of next morning take on a city tour visiting

MUSSOORIE

CAMEL BACK ROAD – the place offers a picturesque view of the sunset; you can enjoy long walks and horse riding here. Camel’s back road is a 3 km long road and is called as the Camel Back Road because of the presence of the natural layout of the rocks that are in the shape of the camel humps.

GUN HILL – A thrilling ropeway rides to Gun Hill, the second highest peak of Mussoorie (2122 mts). The peak offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges.

KEMPTY FALLS – Kempty Falls is the most famous and one of the oldest tourist places near Mussoorie. Developed before more than 150 yrs ago by a British man, Kempty falls is the most attractive picnic spot or a best day out place near Mussoorie at a distance of 15km.

BHATTA FALLS – At a distance of 7 kms, Bhatta Falls is a capital tourist picnic place near the Mussoorie. It is one of the important place where we do lots of enjoy with natures.

LAL TIBBA- Lal Tibba is the highest point perched at 2,346 meters above sea level. With some adorable and never seen before view of the mountains that house the holy shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath. Lai Tibba gives you a chance observe some of the most graphic views.

MUSSOORIE LAKE- The lake is placed at 6km on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. The Mussoorie Lake was recently developed as a picnic spot by the city board. A beautiful small lake, which is created by a nature waterfall.

Day 3 : MUSSOORIE - DHANAULTI SIGHTSEEING - MUSSOORIE

In the morning drive to Dhanaulti which is a small town near Mussoorie, beautifully nestled amid the lofty Himalayan peaks.

ECO PARK – The Eco Park, divided between Amber (sky) and Dhara (earth) parks, about 200 mts from each other. A botanical park housing a large variety of conifers and especially the native Deodars, the park is also to a few endangered aerial species. Sunset and sunrise are the best time to visit the Eco Park, with a beautiful multi hued sky view flanked by the deodars on all sides.

APPLE ORCHARD RESORT – For all fresh fruit fanatics, the Apple Orchard Resort is the home to wide variety of apples that are cultivated and sold here.
POTATO FARM – The Potato Farm is for the ones with a rustic heart, looking to experience nature in its most raw form. The Potato Farm, natively called the ‘Aloo Khet’ is spread across large strips of land, owned by the government and some private farmers.

Later return back to Mussoorie.

Day 4 : MUSSOORIE - RISHIKESH

Day free for leisure some popular activities that tourists can enjoy at the hill station include trekking, rock climb and hiking.

Later in the evening drive to Rishikesh. Later transfer to the hotel. Day free for leisure.

Day 5 : RISHIKESH SIGHTSEEING - DELHI DEPARTURE

After breakfast visit Rishikesh viewing

NEELKANTH MAHADEV TEMPLE – The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is revered here in the form of Neelkanth. As per puranic legends, it is at this place where Lord Shiva consumed the poison that originated from Samudra Manthan. The poison turned his throat (kanth) blue (neel) and hence the name Neelkanth.

BHARAT MANDIR – The temple is situated in the heart of the township of Rishikesh. Said to be the oldest temple in Rishikesh, it is also regarded as one of the most ancient shrines in India.

LAXMAN JHULA – Lakshman Jhula, the famous hanging bridge across Ganga, is about 3 km from the main township of Rishikesh. As per mythological tales, once Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, crossed river Ganga at the same site where the bridge now stands.

PARMARTH ASHRAM – Founded in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukdevanand Ji Maharaj, Parmarth Niketan is an ashram located in Rishikesh. It’s the largest ashram in rishikesh with over a thousand rooms. Parmarth Niketan provides its thousands of pilgrims a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere as well as abundant, beautiful gardens.

YOGA – Yoga is an invaluable source of knowledge, endurance, spirituality and fitness. It brings across the perfect blend of spiritual intelligence and physical fitness in a person’s life. This ancient Indian art finds its origin in the ‘Patanjali Shastra’. Rishikesh, a holy destination in Uttarakhand, has been an important center of Yoga learning for long.

ADVENTURE SPORTS – Topography of Rishikesh is blessed with turbulent rivers, getting their energy from various rivulets and tributaries from the glaciers above. These rivers and their nearby areas make excellent spots for adventure sports like White Water Rafting, Canoeing, Trekking, Rock-Climbing / Mountaineering, Camping and Skiing (especially in winters).

Later in the evening travel back to Delhi to catch your flight/train towards onward destination.
