After breakfast Proceed to Leh, on the way visit Lamayuru Monastery, it is Tibetan Buddhist Monastery and is one of the largest and oldest gompas in Ladakh, with a population of around 150 permanent monk’s resident. We drive over the Fotu La (14,000 ft), a high mountain pass, exiting the Indus valley and entering the Suru valley.
