The Jim Corbett National Park in Uttaranchal, India was the first site chosen for the Project Tiger in India. It is now famous for its population of tigers, and abundant wildlife including leopards and elephants. 110 tree species, 50 mammals' species, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species have been documented to exist in the Park.
