Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Jorhat

  Arrive at Jorhat Airport or Railway Station. Check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit a famous tea estate, where you can walk through the lush tea gardens and learn about Assam tea processing. Later, visit Cinnamora Tea Estate or the Tocklai Tea Research Institute, the oldest tea research institute in the world. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Explore Jorhat and Transfer to Majuli

  After breakfast, visit Thengal Manor, a beautiful heritage bungalow, followed by a visit to Jorhat Gymkhana Club, one of the oldest golf clubs in India. After lunch, head to the Nimati Ghat, from where you will board a ferry across the Brahmaputra River to reach Majuli Island. Check into a traditional bamboo cottage or eco-resort for a relaxed evening.

• Day 3 : Explore Majuli’s Cultural and Natural Heritage

  After breakfast, visit the famous Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries) such as Kamalabari Satra, Auniati Satra, and Garhmur Satra. These monasteries are centres of spiritual teachings, traditional dance, and unique art forms. In the afternoon, visit the Mishing tribal villages, where you can interact with locals and learn about their handloom weaving and traditional lifestyle. Return to your resort for a peaceful evening.
